Took Too Long 1- Took too long (more than 5 hours) to go through the process. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired I am beside myself with the follow up that I have received from this dealership. I purchased my vehicle on 7/31. I have not received one call to personally thank me for my purchase, ask if I had additional questions about the vehicle, nor if I am satisfied. In addition I had to follow up multiple times to make an appointment for service. Once the service was completed I was told my vehicle was ready. Upon arriving to the cashier almost two hours later after the call, I was told the paperwork was not ready and to have a seat. My sales representative raved about the Starbucks located in the dealership, so I figured that I would grab a coffee while I was waiting. Upon arrival I was again disappointed that the Starbucks was closed. Returning to the cashier 50 minutes later I had to make one last attempt to find out when I would get my car back and finally was told I could pick up my car. Totally confused about that when I was told hours ago that my vehicle was ready. In addition, I was not given any paperwork to let me know what services were actually completed and I have nothing for my records. Lastly, the service manager sent an email asking me how my service went. I responded in detail about my dissatisfaction. Almost two weeks later, as usual, no response from him or anyone at the dealership. I love my vehicle, but this dealership can take a great lesson in Customer Service from Woodfield Acura. They had great follow up and sincerely cared about their customers. Knowing what I now know about Motor Werks...I would never have purchased from them. More

The vast majority of the employees seemed to be in a good mood ready to do what they could to sell some cars. The salesperson I dealt with was not on the same page. I think he knew I had decided I was going to leave with the car so he did very little to try to sell the vehicle. He left his office several time to "grab paperwork" which I don't believe would take 25 minutes. He also did not provide information about the transaction very readily before I was already on my way to the dealership. I contacted him about the transaction and didn't actually get any details until I was well on my way to Chicago. He wasn't particularly chatty or capable of seeming interested in the person who was there to buy a car. Now the other side may have been that I was not there to spend 45k on an infinity but that should not be the attitude of a salesperson. This was a purchase that I was nervous but excited about and one which he took a good deal of the excitement away with a lot of ease. Let me just say this, if I had not gone through the trouble of traveling 6 hours and hadn't put down $500 which I wouldn't get back at that point I would not have had an issue walking out of the dealership empty handed. On the upside I was contacted by a manager the day after the purchase and she was very professional and apologetic, the finance employee I worked with also improved my overall experience. I would much rather have bought a vehicle from either of them. More

Absolutely wonderful people to work with- New Car My family has been dealing and buying INFINITI vehicles since long time.However, thsi was my 2nd visit at MOTOR WERKS in Barrington in little over tw My family has been dealing and buying INFINITI vehicles since long time.However, thsi was my 2nd visit at MOTOR WERKS in Barrington in little over two months to buy Infiniti QX 30 & QX 50.i can vouch for their excellent friendly and courtous customer service. In both instances Nina GEWARGIS and Ali Nauraz provided exceptional satisfaction. I can very easily summarize my experience that this dealership is perhaps only new car purchase/lease showroom where they ask customer preference and monthly payment they want to pay as opposed to song and dance played by sales associates , managers and finance guys insisting on come to showroom and submit an application and the rates would depend on the credit score and trade in etc plus they give you third degree about your personal, history and time wasting techniques to force buyers to walk in and start haggling. I called several different dealers of all makes and models and not a single sales guy was able to quote me an actual rate. Those days of playing games and spending hours in the show room shuffling between sales perople and managers and than finally finance guy walking in pretending to do a big favors by giving the best possible rates etc etc. I must add that NINA being a first contact upon entering the main door really gives a positive vibe with smiley face and encourages you to come in and have coffee and snacks whether you lease the car or not. NINA makes it really happen by answering all questions and concerns truthfully. Tony Guzman in the end finishes the job and shakes hands at the conclusion of the deal, More
