I worked with Izzy Santisteban at MotorWorld Hyundai while trying to trade in my 2022 Tesla Model Y toward a 2026 Hyundai Palisade, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I drove four hours while trying to trade in my 2022 Tesla Model Y toward a 2026 Hyundai Palisade, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I drove four hours from New York City after being told my trade-in would not be an issue if it was in good condition. My Tesla has about 21,000 miles and is in excellent shape, yet Izzy appraised it as “fair” condition and initially offered $22,000, even though Kelley Blue Book shows a value between $29,000 and $30,000. When I questioned the condition rating, Izzy said he has “been doing this for 17 years” but still insisted on subtracting $1,000–$2,000 “just in case” there might be issues — even while acknowledging the vehicle was in excellent condition. That approach was not fair, transparent, or professional. The offer was later raised to $25,000, but Izzy stated that they don’t like electric vehicles and that “no one wants to buy them,” which made it clear my car was being undervalued simply because it was an EV. If that was their position, I never should have been asked to drive such a long distance for an appraisal. When I declined the offer and said I would not accept less than $27,000, Izzy became dismissive and said he was “here to sell me his car, not buy mine,” even though I was there to trade my vehicle in order to purchase theirs. This was a huge waste of time and a very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend working with Izzy Santisteban if you expect honesty, fair valuations, or respectful customer service. More

The 2024 Hyundai Tucson itself is incredible — packed with comfort and safety features — and the warranty, plus complimentary oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections, really put the whole experience over the top. I honored my word and held to the deal we agreed to. I dont know what i was looking for, perhaps a thank you if nothing else....crickets. They didnt care. In finance, despite the published 4.99%, they tried to slide a 5.99% apr into the deal without me noticing. I caught them and when Corey , the "manager" was confronted with this he LITERALLY went dead silent and storemed out of the office. He never once addressed the issue. NOT ONCE. No apology, nothing. I never saw the guy again. James aside, I gave them 50 grand and was generaly treated like an inconvience. James - 5 stars. I cannot say i dont reccomend the Motorworld group because, at this point, my complaint is with this particular personell group. I will continue to use these folks for service as I have no complaints in that regard. Currently, there is zero % chance that i will buy my next Genesis here. I want to shop local and am a big proponent of this, but i simply cannot stomach being treated in that manner. We did have to return to sign some papers and the staff was pleasent and helpful at that point in time. Ay chance my buddy Corey came out and said anything? Nope. More
