I agreed on the phone with a sales manager to purchase a specific car on the lot. We agreed on the VIN number and on the “out the door price” which included every charge – cost, dealer charges, gov’t charg specific car on the lot. The dealership is 140 away in a different state so they were going to call me the next day to tell me when and where we would meet. No one called me. I contacted them and was told they were working on it. No one got back to me. I contacted them again, and got a response they had sold the car! When I complained, they were defensive and I was told a blatant lie that I told them that I could not pick up the car for two weeks and that anyway, there was no signed purchase order.
