I brought my Infiniti Q50 to Napoli Nissan in Milford for basic service (oil change, tire rotation, etc). I told Jeffrey in the service department that the brakes squeal when applied when backing up, and als basic service (oil change, tire rotation, etc). I told Jeffrey in the service department that the brakes squeal when applied when backing up, and also there is a rattling noise from under the car when the engine is running. I picked up my car after receiving a call telling me it was ready. The service invoice made no mention at all that they had checked on my report of the brakes squealing or the rattling sound. It appears they did not check on these two items. When I drove the car home, I continued to hear the brakes squealing and the engine rattle. I called Jeffrey and he told me that despite the brakes squealing the brakes were safe. He also offered to put the car up on the lift again to determine the source of the rattling. I have not followed up because I feel that my reports of brake squealing and engine rattling were ignored. There appears to have been a communication failure in the service dept. Very aggravating.
