After a stressful Saturday morning visiting four different dealerships where I felt pressured and judged for dressing casually on my day off, my experience at New Motors in Erie was a breath of fresh air. From the start, they earned a major point from me by respecting my boundaries. I had requested contact via text or email only, and they actually listened—providing exactly the information I asked for without bombarding my phone with calls. When I arrived at the lot, there was no high-pressure swarm. A polite gentleman casually asked if I needed assistance and introduced me to sales consultant Brendan Eisinger. Brendan was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. During our test drive, he asked relevant questions and engaged in light conversation without ever making me feel pressured. I told him my preferred features and color, and without me even having to haggle, he found a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek and proactively worked out an excellent price on it. He patiently walked me through lease versus purchase options and offered to hold the car with a small deposit since they were closing, making it clear there was zero pressure if I wanted to keep looking around. When my husband and I returned on Friday to finalize the purchase, the dealership was extremely busy and experiencing computer issues in the finance department. Despite the delay, the staff apologized profusely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Everyone congratulated us, and Brendan introduced us to the team and gave us a helpful tour of the service area. The finance department was equally pleasant; they clearly explained service contract options with just the facts—no strong-arm tactics—and easily accommodated my request to purchase contracts separately rather than rolling them into the lease. What truly stood out was Brendan’s intuition. I had a rough week at work and was feeling stressed about a major purchase I hadn't originally wanted to make, so I wasn't feeling overly enthusiastic. Brendan completely read the room. He made genuine, appropriate attempts to help me feel good about the car without being overly bubbly or pushy. Even though we went past closing time, he never rushed us. He patiently sat in the car to walk me through all the instrument panels until I was completely comfortable. After three days of driving my new Crosstrek, I am extremely satisfied with my decision.
