I recently bought a 2021 Honda CR-V at Norm Reeves. My salesperson was Marcelo Alcalde, and I am very pleased with my experience overall. I had narrowed my choices down to 3 Honda models, and Marcelo grac salesperson was Marcelo Alcalde, and I am very pleased with my experience overall. I had narrowed my choices down to 3 Honda models, and Marcelo graciously showed me each one. Once I had eliminated one of my choices, we went on test drives with the other two. It was such a relief to feel no pressure from Marcelo whatsoever, which was one of my concerns as a lone female. He was 100% respectful, professional, and made no assumptions about my ability to make my own decisions. Indeed, I already mostly knew what I wanted, so the process was very easy. Marcelo expertly handled the paperwork, and then walked me over to financing. I had secured a loan at a very good rate with my credit union, and Honda was able to beat it. It was an unexpected surprise. The entire process took only about 4 hours from the time I walked onto the sales department until the financing paperwork was completed and I had my car keys in my hand. After financing was finished, Marcelo came back and patiently walked me through all the features of my new car. The last time I bought a new car was in the year 2000, my trusty Honda Civic, which is still going strong! As one can imagine, I feel as if I need to learn how a car works all over again. New cars have so many new and advanced features with which I am completely unfamiliar. Marcelo was so kind and patient, and together we linked my iPhone and set the preferences for the door locks, alarm system, etc. He walked with me to the parts department to pick up the extra items that I bought, and he even installed my all season floor mats for me. His attention to detail was impeccable. I need to go back to the service department to have 2 other things installed, so days later I called for an appointment. When there was a bit of confusion about the paperwork required for the service department, I contacted Marcelo and he immediately handled it. He even scheduled my return appointment! My experience with Marcelo Alcalde at Norm Reeves Honda exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend seeking him out when you are ready to buy your next vehicle. More
