I took my car in on a Monday at 1130a. The service guy who took my car, Michael Barr, was dismissive towards me. He didn’t even check my car to see what was needed, he went off what was in the computer from previous visits. I almost sign to pay $800 without him properly explaining the details of the service. I called to speak to a manager as soon as I dropped off my car and I was told I’d get a call back. I never received one or updates on my car. At 5:15p, I called to get an update on my car and Michael said, “I thought you picked up your car since I was informed that you called to speak to my supervisor”. Why did he assume that my car was picked up if he never released it to me? My car needed an oil change and I was having issues with my battery. He said there was no time for them to work on my car anymore so he would change the battery quickly but I had to be there by 6p. How is this okay? I leave my car at the dealer all day and it doesn’t get serviced? What do the managers do? Are they not checking on their employees? I told Michael I’d pick my car up the next day because I needed it to be serviced. He gave me a $30 discount which did not even cover the Uber rides that I had to pay to get to work because of their mistake. It’s been over a month and I am still waiting for a manager to contact me. I called 4 times to speak to a manager regarding my experience and I never got an answer or a call back. Seriously, what are the managers roles and responsibilities there? Is properly managing and the customer experience not part of their job description? I’m more upset that I never received a call back from a manager than Michael Barr’s bad attitude. More
