To be honest I wasn’t very confident that we were going to leave with a car yesterday… as I Lots of staff friendly, willing and available to help! To be honest I wasn’t very confident that we were going to leave with a car yesterday… as I don’t have a lot of faith in dealerships and/or car salesman (ptsd from previous experiences). However Gilbert was a total breath of fresh air! So genuine in fact, that I almost didn’t believe he was being real with us. I’ve never had such a positive and straight forward exchange with a Car Salesman in my life. I almost feel he’s in the wrong profession as he’s so good with people! He managed our expectations, took so much time to thoroughly explain things to me (multiple times) and handled my somewhat direct and spicy attitude! We had a set budget- and he was very respectful of this. He did his upmost to make sure we left the place happy- in fact his words were “you guys are going to love me by the time you leave- I promise!” This was true!! I’m still in shock that it was as easy as it was, but- only with his help. He is very good at what he does. It felt like we were dealing with a real human (not some robotic, scripted, game playing, sceezy, con artist … like we’ve experienced in previous attempts at different dealerships), who actually cared about us (despite having just met us) and was determined to get us the best possible deal. I can 100% see why they continue to keep winning excellence awards as it was truly an excellent experience- thanks to Gilbert! Thanks Gilbert.
