Initially, I was very happy with cowboy Toyota and my purchase went smoothly (so I thought). I was given temporary tags and was told I would get a call when my permanent plates were in. 2 months later, s purchase went smoothly (so I thought). I was given temporary tags and was told I would get a call when my permanent plates were in. 2 months later, still heard nothing. I went and was told “we’re so sorry, the DMV must be behind, we’ll look into it right away” and they printed me a new temp tag since mine was expiring. Another 2 months later STILL nothing. I called and was again assured “ we’re so sorry, we’re going to find out and call you back tomorrow morning with a solution.” Received no communication. When I called them the next day, I was told a manager would call me back…..nothing. Called again, was told I’d be transferred to the manager…..waited on hold for 30min before I gave up. Called the next day, finally got through to the title clerk who told me they’d had my plates there for OVER 3 MONTHS but financial showed I still owed a balance so they didn’t tell me. I was NEVER told I had any balance until this point despite 8+ phone calls to cowboy Toyota and NEVER received any calls back from them. It took me filling a compliant with Toyota corporate offices to finally get a resolution. TLDR - they’ll sell you car then randomly decide you owe them money and to get to the bottom of any issue involves hours of your life spent calling them repeatedly and listening to empty promises that it will be fixed. Would NEVER purchase a car from them again; there are plenty of other better Toyota dealers out there. More
