I'm not going to lie, I did not enjoy my experience this time around (maybe at my own fault). I was essentially blindsided by the cost of my service appointment after being told initially it was going to be time around (maybe at my own fault). I was essentially blindsided by the cost of my service appointment after being told initially it was going to be around $500 for the work but was then they called after I dropped off my vehicle and I was told my brakes system was basically at zero and the cost would be an additional $400+. That all being more money than I was initially wanting to spend at once, I asked if I could put off one of the services to bring the cost down and was told part of the service had already begun and the price couldnt be adjusted. I just felt an extreme amount of pressure to spend money and my Toyota advisor did not make much effort to soften the blow or consolidate (example: would have like if they offered "if you need to bring the price down, we dont have to do such and such today, but the brakes for sure need to be done"). I understand certain repairs need to be done regardless of time which they mentioned but at a time when the economy is tight and right before holiday shopping season, I felt like I got "gotcha-d" in part of the purchase. They took care of my car which is what I paid for but it had me thinking all weekend and has me thinking twice about how I will be going about this in the future. More
