Hi Mani, I'm sorry to hear about your experience here at North Penn Mazda. I was the one you spoke with when you came back with the concern of your starter issue. When we spoke, I asked you to come back and let us have technician team look it over again to make sure we didn't miss something. Our technician looked the car over again and found nothing was wrong with the starter. I would have been more then glad to replace it if they would have said they noticed an issue. Hello Mikel, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your key issues with your Mazda. I was able to speak to our service team and it sounds like your remote is being put into "sleep mode". Our service team did exactly what needs to be done if the key is put into that mode. Sleep mode can be activated on the Mazda key fob to save battery power. Turning on the transmitter's power saving function also turns off the advanced keyless entry and push button start system functions, and restricts the transmitter's battery power consumption. To take a Mazda key out of sleep mode, you can: Press the Start button four times The red light will stay on Press and hold for a few seconds The light will release and flash the parking flashers Press the Start button again Everything should power up normally Once again, I'm sorry for the issues but I hope this helps clarify what's happening.
