I can't be content with a big purchase until I exhaust all measures for finding the perfect car for the best price. In fact, I was in contact with 12 Ford dealerships throughout Texas to find the best deal. My purchase came down between Sterling Mccall in Houston Texas and Northside Ford in San Antonio. Not only did Julio and Phil constantly work with me and keep me updated on their inventory they worked with Charlie to get me the best possible price. My last car purchase was in 2006 and I've never been happier with a new car. I was also considering a Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. For those of you comparing Compact SUV's make sure you test drive the CX-5 on a highway. The Ford Escape has considerably better "get up and go" than the CX-5. Ecoboost is an amazing turbo technology! Thank you Phil, Julio and Charlie. I won't forget about your service! Especially when a friend is asking where to start looking for a new car or when I'm do for another. More

I bought a new car and out of the 9 months I have had it it was in the service department for 3 months. It took 7 times of taking it in for them to fix it and 3 weeks sitting in the shop not including all it was in the service department for 3 months. It took 7 times of taking it in for them to fix it and 3 weeks sitting in the shop not including all the other times there was an issue and I having to take it in . This was just of the issues I had. This car has been in and out of the shop for multiple recalls. This was not a good car and should have been consider a lemon car and not to be sold. I have recently traded this car in due to this dealership not willing to buy it back. However I have bought an a extended warranty and have been trying to work with Jerry on the paperwork to get it cancelled and to refund the money for this warranty. I have called numerous times and he is always too busy to take my call and has yet to return my phone calls for the past 2 weeks. I even tried contacting his boss Eric and he has yet to return my phone calls as well. This dealership and its employees do not care about their customers. The customer service is horrible and the service received is even worse! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and will never go back. More

He worked with me on the price of the Used car--purchased (2013 with 16K miles). Charles-sales and Jerry-finance were very thorough in their explanations about any paperwork or functions on the car. Charles has asked that I come back soon so that he could instruct me on additional functions available in the car. He also had a way about him that mademe feel very at-ease. He understands that the consumer is making a large-item purchase which can make a person a little stressed. I definitely recommend Charles as the salesperson to see. More

I Chose North side Ford after looking at various reviews. Also I was in the Market for a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. North side Ford had the largest Selection, and exactly what I was looking for. I live in North Dakota and Started talking with John Tavor about a month out from my Arrival in San Antonio. He answered all my questions, provided me with my requests and helped me locate what I wanted. Upon Arrival John was helping another customer so Hugo helped me narrow my choices down to one and took me for a test drive. All in all I am very pleased with the services provided and they were always upfront with me about everything..they also went that extra mile to take car of me as well as dealing with my trade-in. We were attracted to the dealership by the vastness of the inventory visible from HW 281, a main artery through San Antonio. The appearance of the dealership was impressive to us. We were met by an enthusiastic sales person, Mickey Cao. He told him the type of new vehicle we were looking for (crossover SUV) and the price range ($30,000-$36,000) and he ushered us to three SUV types that met the criteria. He showed us the various options and capabilities of each, then took us for demo rides to demonstrate the capabilities. He also showed us options on demo automobiles and some used ones with low mileage. He arranged for quick appraisal of our trade-in vehicle and introduced us to the manager on duty, John. Another salesman, Reuben (or Jason), showed us the vehicle again the next day when Mickey was off. We returned the next day for another look with Mickey, and we were able to negotiate a great offer and reasonable value for our trade. The manager, John, was very reasonable and pleasant in considering the blue book values and competing offers on our trade in vehicle, and we were satisfied. The paperwork went quickly, and we had a great new Ford Escape within a couple of hours. We have owned probably 20 vehicles in 44 years of marriage and a 30-year military career and rate this 2014 Escape as tied for first place alongside a new BMW 328i in 1999. The receptionists were friendly. The dealership showroom and new coffee bar are great. We enjoy Northside Ford. More
