The best car buying experience Ive ever experienced I walked into this dealer simply understand and evaluate my options. I owned a 2011 Ram which I bought new in 2010. With 63,000 miles on it and in need of some routine but expensive maintenance, I asked about purchasing a used truck or maybe leasing new. My sales person was William Hogarth and he was both understanding, non agressive and very sincere. His credibility rating would be the highest. After over an hour we settled on a leasing option. My wife, vacationing in Florida and I were in constant contact and, the next day decided to move forward with the leasing option. To my surprise, i left there with the new vehicle. I had already been to a few dealerships around CT and had narrowed everything down to I was in the market to buy a brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, at other dealerships I always felt like I was not being fully informed, and there were hidden fees and gimmicks throughout. In addition, I dealt with your stereotypical “sleazy salesmen” that’s just trying to sell the car and did not take me seriously due to my age (I am 23). I had a gut feeling that before I put a down payment on a car, I should continue my search for other dealerships. So, I went online and ended up finding Northwest Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. From the moment I walked in to Northwest Hills I was treated with kindness and the utmost respect. The manager immediately greeted my Dad and I and set us up with the best salesman I could have ever asked for. William Hogarth is a class act guy. From the moment I started working with him he took me seriously and genuinely cared about finding me the perfect car. I gave him all of my specifications on the exact car I was looking for and shortly thereafter he had found my absolute dream car - and for an unmatchable price. He did everything in his power to prep the car and make it available for me to drive off the lot as soon as possible. When I went to pick it up he even sat in the car with me and explained every feature that was offered and I could not have been more thankful. I cannot say enough positive things about William Hogarth and the Northwest Hills team. From Torrington, they truly understand the perks of having a car dealership, “in your backyard.” William’s honesty, compassion and understanding went a long way with me; and not to mention he’s extremely personable, and you could have a conversation with him outside of the car buying process. He continues to make himself available if need be for any questions or concerns I may have. The whole process from start to finish was seemless and everyone at Northwest Hills respected your time and made sure you were satisfied every step of the way. I truly cannot imagine having bought my first car from anywhere else and I am beyond happy with my decision to go through this dealership. Great experience, in and out in a short period of time. My husband had great communication with Bill Rudgen regarding the Jeep. When my husband and I took the trip from Pennsylvania to Connecticut to pick up the vehicle, we did not have high expectations regarding how long we would be there, we surely thought it would be an all day affair, as previous experiences have dictated. When we arrived, the Jeep we were there to purchase was waiting in the front of the dealership with a sign that said "Sold to the Quinns." It was the first thing we saw -- what a nice touch. We entered the dealership and was greeted right away by Bill Reudgen. He sat us down and told us what was in store. He made it seem like it was going to quick, easy and painless, but from what my husband and I have experienced in the past regarding purchasing past vehicles, we thought otherwise. Low and behold Bill was correct in what he was stating. No longer than five minutes later, we were escorted into the finance department. We were both happy and shocked that the wait for the Finance portion of this venture was not longer. The last dealership, we waited well over an hour. The Finance department had all paperwork prepared. He reviewed every piece of paper in detail with us before signing. We were soon out of there with keys in hand. The dread of purchasing this Jeep was actually quite painless. Thank You to the dealership for making this a wonderful experience. Thanks to Bill and to Jeff (I think his name was Jeff) for all of their assistance and guidance in making this a really nice day. We will definitely purchase from Northwest again, no hesitation. Extremely knowledgeable about the Cherokee and financial options. He assessed our needs and offered us choices. Without any pressure I might add. He gave us time and space to talk things over and consider our options. Once we made our decision he quickly found our vehicle, got it to the dealership and set up a delivery. Let me add, Steve Boswell was very straightforward when discussing our trade in. None of this going back and forth. Jeff Cormier made the closing effortless. Northwest Hills has a great team.
