They really need to stop trying to provide service because they simply do not provide it. They had my truck for 8 days for scheduled service involving an oil change, check engine light and bad tire pressure sensor. They never looked at the truck and ignored many many attempts to ask them about the status of the service. I will be retrieving the truck in the morning, and they have done nothing except lost a customer. I encourage you to go anywhere else but OC Welch for service, and I would never buy a vehicle from them unless I have someone else who can do all the service I need. The details: 1) Scheduled my truck for service on Tuesday 9/20 at 8:00 a.m. - Dropped the vehicle off on Monday night 9/19. - About 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday 9/20, I received a call from them which I could not answer because I was in a meeting. It was from "Dave" who said he needed to talk to me about my truck. - I called 5+ times the rest of that day. No one answered. I left messages and no one returned the call. - I called 5+ times on Wed. with the same result. I sent an e-mail to the contact information on their web-site. I even used their web site chat (clearly only intended for selling vehicles) all to no avail. - I tried multiple times again on Thursday with the same results. I finally got a text message back and was able to find someone who texted back and promised me information on the status of my truck -I got nothing. - On Friday, my wife stopped by (she works closer to the dealership than me) and finally found "Dave" who said they had not even looked at it and had lots of excuses about resources, lack of mechanics etc. but no information on when they will get to my truck. - I did not attempt to contact them again until Tuesday 9/26. - I called the number I had gotten a text reply from and actually spoke to a human (either Kye or Tye was his name). - He said they still had not looked at my truck (7 days after the appointment) but promised that either he or "Dave" would call me back on Tuesday 9/27. No one contacted me. - On Wednesday, 9/28, I made at least 3 more attempts to contact them on both the normal service number and on the number I had gotten a human on the previous day. Again, no reply of any kind. - That same afternoon, my wife stopped at the dealership again. They again told her they had not gotten to the truck; made a lot of excuses and had no schedule for when they would get to it. - She got the keys and we will retrieve the truck tomorrow. - 8+ days at the dealership for scheduled service and they never even looked at the truck while ignoring > 20 attempts to contact them with no return phone calls. - You cannot make this level of incompetence up. - Stop scheduling service you absolutely have no ability or intention of providing and stop misleading your customers while refusing to talk to them. - I have been getting vehicles serviced for > 35 years and have never seen service this pathetic. - I will never return to OC Welch again, and if I cannot get my Ford diesel truck serviced elsewhere locally, I will probably sell it and buy a replacement brand where local service is competent and capable. (The GMC dealer has none a good job on my wife's vehicle.) More
Do not purchase or take your car for service at OC Welch Ford. The service department customer service is poor. Three weeks, and they do not answer phones, and do not return phone calls. As a matter of fact Ford. The service department customer service is poor. Three weeks, and they do not answer phones, and do not return phone calls. As a matter of fact you can not even leave a message sine the voice mail is full. Poor communication skills and customer service. Will buy next Ford from JC Lewis Ford. More
Let me start out by saying if I could give them 0 stars I would. I bought a 2019 F150 that had only 81000 miles on it 12/3/21. I paid cash !!!! I've had it in the service department 4 different occasions. would. I bought a 2019 F150 that had only 81000 miles on it 12/3/21. I paid cash !!!! I've had it in the service department 4 different occasions. Within 2 months of buying it. O.C.Welch gives the "standard 3 month warranty " bumper to bumper per the sales rep. This vehicle was sold to me as THE FORD BLUE ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED PREOWN VEHICLE!!WHICH MEANS 90DAY/4,000 WARRANTY GIVEN WITH THE SALE! Within 4 days of having the vehicle the brakes were squealing like no other. So brought it in had to fight for hours to get them to take care of the brakes and I questioned the motor noise. 2nd time within 2 weeks of owning, was driving down the interstate going about 65 truck immediately shuts off And I lose power to everything. Had to make an appointment wait to get it into the dealership for them to tell me after 3 days that nothing's wrong. So 3rd time can't get the vehicle to crank and when I finally did it was making a horrible tapping noise like the motor. Took back into the dealership was told it was a crank shaft sensor. Get the vehicle home and at this time it is tapping even louder. Call the dealership back up ,express it again that the engine noise is louder than it was the 1st 3 times that I brought it in. I was told by the young lady that the 5.O motors are naturally noisy this was the case all 3 times that I brought up about the engine noise. So as of today my vehicle is now sitting at a Ford maintenance center in Greenville and the motor has to be replaced. And go figure it is now out of that 3 month warranty. The service center is the most idiotic people I have ever met. Nobody can get on the same page ... I am now stuck with a $31k vehicle with less than 83,000miles LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD...that needs a new motor. This dealership knew that this vehicle had some issues never addressed the issues sold it like this and stuck me with paying for it. Last month I came to the dealership to try to trade the truck in because I knew there was obviously something severely wrong with the motor... The owner's son tells me yeah the motors pretty loud it's tapping something's wrong...nah you don't say!!! Then they offer me $10,000 less than what I paid for the vehicle 4 flipping months ago.... BECAUSE, AND I QUOTE PER SALES REP, " This truck is in our system and shows there are some issues that you've been having with it😡😡😡 Funny I was told nothing was wrong with it!!! I have contacted my attorney !I have contacted Ford customer service and Somebody will be paying for this I can guarantee you that!!! Let me also state I have called and left so many voicemails on trying to get a copy of my last 3 receipts nobody can email them to me.. Not to mention I've been told on 3 occasions that they have nothing in the system of me bringing my vehicle in the last 3 times however I had a loaner F250 from them so figure it out!!!!🤷♀️ I get it...I'm not a high roller buying a brand new 2022 big bucks vehicle so I shouldn't except the same treatment ,I guess.... Called service department three times on 5/18/22; left three voice messages - 22 hours later and no one has given me the courtesy of returning my calls. Next call is to CEO of Ford in Michigan. Dropped my truck off on April 26th for a check engine light and did not receive a phone call. I went in two days later and the service rep told me he had the wrong phone number so I gave him the correct light and did not receive a phone call. I went in two days later and the service rep told me he had the wrong phone number so I gave him the correct one. Service rep then told me what was wrong with the truck and I asked him about my warranty and he said he would have to check. The next week came, no phone call. I called at least ten times each day, I left a voice mail with correct number and still no call. I contacted O C Welch and he was more concerned about if I was a returning customer rather than helping me. After all the excuses he gave me of why no one called me back, he said he would personally follow up. A couple days later I went in to the dealership because no one called me. The service rep told me he called me several times and left messages, (he did not). They had my truck for seven days and never contacted me. While I was there dropping off my truck, An older gentlemen that works in the service department cracked the door because the office was cold and O C came out there and asked, "who keeps opening the d*mn door?" and the gentlemen said, " I cracked it a little because it is cold in here" and O C looked at him and said "well you don't pay the d*mn bills here so leave it shut." This is all while customers were waiting in the lobby. I thought to myself, no wonder he can't find help. If he treats his employees this way I can only imagine how he treats customers. Well I found out. He treats them the same. I use Quick Lane for my truck and my explorer and they have always been nice to me, but I will never again support this man's business. The sad part is, he has some good people working there but the culture of the business will probably end up running them out. More

I tried buying a truck out of state and these guys were so responsive and helpful. I really appreciated the follow-up and taking time to even align an affordable shipping option to NWI. The pricing was goo so responsive and helpful. I really appreciated the follow-up and taking time to even align an affordable shipping option to NWI. The pricing was good too. I couldn't find the gas model I wanted because of current market conditions out of their control but highly recommend them. More
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tom Landry. This salesman was not only knowledgeable but also professional and patient. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
