rudedog1424 I totally agree with you. we try very hard to help everyone especially when Ford has 8m open recalls. we can't turn away any ford owner with a recall. Nobody sees the number of vehicles we do service. Nobody sees the parts on backorder. nobody sees the short staff we have. As far as scheduling service nobody sees anyone that just drove an hour and shows up. Please call me I can help you. 843 288 0100 ask for Mr. Welch.

Thanks for the reply but I am not interested. I know you have challenges and I know about labor shortages, scheduling software problems etc. None of that excuses failing to talk to customers, misleading them or just flat lying to them. It is far better to tell customers bad news than nothing and you know better than I do that you cannot promise to contact a customer and ignore them. I won't be back. My time is not well spent dealing with the mess you have in your service department. For the sake of your customers and your business, I hope you fix it.

Mr. Welch, i tried to resolve the issue for 8 days with no success. I am done wasting my time. Your service team knows my name and you can get it from them. My email address is a childhood nickname and none of your business. i sincerely hope you can get your service organization fixed. Again, they have to communicate, abd they cannot mislead. Otherwise, this will be far from the last bad service review the get. I am moving on and suggest you do the same.

Two days later and still no call. Funny thing is, when I talked to the switchboard at O C Welch Ford and expressed my discontent with service, I asked to speak with the general manager. After several moments my call was transferred to SERVICE voice messaging. Hmmm, I wonder why that happened??

Now THREE days later, and still no response - I guess they must be sooooo busy......bless their hearts! (or maybe they are not open on Saturdays (or Fridays or Thursdays or Wednesdays). Still trying to figure out why my call to the general manager was redirected back to service?? Must be malfunctioning technology, I guess. Another thing that puzzled me a little... switchboard operator asked me if I bought my unit from them. That likely would have made me a PREFERRED customer. In the whole scheme of things, I guess that is ok. I wonder if they may be closed Mondays also. We'll find out.
