Rob approached us but gave us the breathing room to browse in peace by not hovering over us. The Gettis family has now purchased five vehicles from Oak Lawn and very happy with them all. I just purchased the sixth vehicle on 5/27/14, a 2014 Prius C Two. I drove from Schaumburg to do so. Rob is such a delightful person, that I could not see myself buying a car from anyone else but him. Our experience is always top notch and would not go anywhere else as long as Rob is still around. In the past 3 months we were in numerous dealerships and by far Oaklawn Toyota was by the most outstanding place to buy a car. We ran into some very negative sales people on the way to finding the great people at Oaklawn Toyota. We read previous reviews and decided it would be worth the drive of 50 miles to go to Oaklawn to make the purchase. We were very glad we did. #1 our car was inside the building away from the elements, #2 our chosen options (roof rack, door edge guards, and side guards) were done and on the car. #3 The price we were told days earlier was the price we paid. Dominik, the sales associate, was very knowledgeable and helped guide us to the perfect van to fit our growing family's needs. Steve, the sales manager, found that perfect van and expeditiously brought it to Oak Lawn to finalize our purchase. Oaklawn service did a great job, Al Leon and John Mcshane,obtained a loaner car for me, work as usual was done perfectly. When you purchase a new vehicle, which is very expensive, service after the sale really shows how much a dealership values your business, this dealership shines brightly in this aspect. The only problem I had was being put on hold, by the operator, as they were busy I understand, but everything else was great,car was clean, and service issue resolved. Would buy another vehicle and recommend this dealership 110%! More

wayne42My brother bought a new 2014 Camry. He traded in his 2010 Camry. He was supposed to sell it to me but in the midst of buying his new car he traded it in. I went to the dealership to buy it back his 2010 Camry. He was supposed to sell it to me but in the midst of buying his new car he traded it in. I went to the dealership to buy it back a few hours after it was traded in. The salesman tried to offer me a new car and trade mine in. I told them I want to get my brothers car back. They said he traded it in for a tax credit. They only gave him $2500 for the trade so the credit was only $200. The resale on this is over $10000. I was told by John Carnivele that I could buy it back for $3200. I asked to finance and he said it would have to be over $5000. I asked for this to be put in writing and he denied and he said to come in on Monday. I told him I work until 3 and he said he would be there all day. He said he will not be working on Tuesday so I had to come in Monday or he wouldn't sell it to me. I showed up at the dealership around 4:00. Another sales person had told me it was sold. When I spoke with John, he said that he sold it at noon because he did not hear from me. He did not give me a time to come in or to call. He didn't even tell me to call. Wouldn’t he hand me his business card like most salesmen do? Later in the conversations he said his sales person sold it at 1:00pm, his story changed. I asked who the salesperson was and he hesitated and said “one of them”. He said it was listed in the inventory and someone called in over the phone because he saw it over the weekend online. I asked to see a proof of sale and he denied. The car was traded in on Saturday before closing sold in less than 36 hours? I called the Toyota Complaint center immediately after the complaint. They stated the dealership will call me within 24 hours, they did not. I sent an email to the President but John, the manager emailed me instead. In his email he blatantly lied, he states I was supposed to call between 12 and 1pm. Then why would he tell me he has Tuesday off? He also states a verbal agreement to call him. The only verbal agreement was to come in on Monday to buy to car back. Wouldn’t he hand me his business card like most salesmen do? I work till 3pm so I would never agree to call him during my work hours. That is why he told me that he will be in all day. He also states in his email not to contact Mr. Colosimo, the President. Why is that? Why doesn't he want to me contact the President of the dealership? I don’t think this is fair or honest. My brother was with me when he said I could come in on Monday to buy it back. I spent my whole weekend to find a way to get the money for this car. I was up at 4am this morning for work and had to pick up the money I borrowed before coming into the dealership. They scammed my brother with a low amount for his trade-in to resell it for a large margin. He lied and said I could buy it back. He lied and said it was sold. He lied and said I had to call between 12 and 1:00. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General More
