The best experience I have ever had at a car dealer. I was in the market for a new used truck and happened to stumble upon a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS at Oakbrook Toyota In Westmont. I found the car I was in the market for a new used truck and happened to stumble upon a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS at Oakbrook Toyota In Westmont. I found the car online at cars.com and called to schedule a time to come look at the truck. When I got to the dealership I was politely approached by Samantha Martus and she took me out right away to see the truck. I have to say that I had the most pleasant experience with her while looking at this truck. She was not pushy or just there to try and sell you something. She took the time and made sure that you had every question answered to the best of her ability and if she didn't know the answer she made sure that she got one for you and that it was the correct one. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is in the market for a new or used car!!!!!! More

I wasn't sure if I was going to make the purchase there, but since they are close to where I live, I decided to stop in anyways. I was greeted by Patrick O'Day who was very courteous and not 'salesy' at all. After I told him the maximum I was willing to pay for the car, he had me chat directly with Alex Syed (the General Manager). We couldn't immediately agree on the price and I told them that I had a few other dealerships to visit. On the way out, Alex and Patrick thanked me for my visit and asked me to consider them one more time before I finalized my purchase - it was unusually candid and frank (not pushy at all). I ended up calling and visiting another handful of dealerships and honestly I didn't meet anyone as "real" as the guys at Oak Brook Toyota. Every place was just filled with your stereotypical car sales person! After about a week, I decided to see if Alex / Syed would be willing to work something out. By now, I basically negotiated the entire purchase over text messages. Patrick asked me for a convenient day to come back (which ended up being his day off but he decided to come in into the dealership to help me). I was in and out in about 2 hours and with a new car in hand! Alex and Patrick truly made my car buying experience enjoyable and I would definitely buy from them again! More

Great buying experience I recently traded in my MDX for a Sienna at Oakbrook Toyota. After getting online quotes from a bunch of dealership, I went there to get an appraisal done on my trade in, since they are the closest to my work place. They quote top dollar for my MDX, much more than other dealerships (including Honda, since I was also looking into Odyssey) were quoting. For my new car price, not only did they honour it (as you would expect) but they also gave me the 0% financing, for which I had to qualify but not part of the original quote. The best thing is I did not have to deal with any haggling at all. The positive experience was on par with my prior experiences at luxury car dealership Acura and Infiniti. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a Toyota. More

I spoke with Michelle (last name unknown) at this dealership to see if the vehicle was available. She offered to search and return my call. She indeed called back within 20 minutes to confirm that the vehicle was available. To my surprise, she offered to schedule an appointment for me to see car the same day. She also gave me the name of the salesperson, Patrick O’ Day. Patrick is friendly and knowledgeable about the Toyota products. He truly listened to our requests. The purchase price of the vehicle was the same as listed on the internet… no extra fees, no “bait and switch” tactics. We informed Patrick that the auto purchase would be delayed by 1 day so that our local mechanic would have the 1st opportunity to purchase our trade-in vehicle. He respected our decision and did not exert the “hard sell” tactics. Greg Zay and Steve Niechielski presented the financial information during out 2 visits. We were informed of the extra Toyota warranty and service packages. Steve told us about license plate renewal options that were very useful for us. It took less than 30 minutes to complete the transaction to purchase the vehicle. I highly recommend his dealership. The salesperson (Billy) was fantastic as far as his customer service skills and his knowledge of the Toyota product line. I was very pleased with the service and attention that I received from Billy but then came time to meet the finance crew. This is where things got really weird very fast...turns out that no matter what credit score you have (700's) they want to try to put you at a high interest rate. I was read to walk away but I had to go through the finance guy and one of the sales managers who were blocking the door...they were surprised that I was not taking the deal. I had to call my bank to try to sort out the high interest rate and I was informed that they had nothing to do with it....this is all part of the dealers process to make money off of the deal if the gave you money for a trade in or a lower price on the car...not good business practice but I guess that's industry standard. In any case, I was able to work with Billy on getting the finance crew to work out a better deal for me but I'm still going to proceed with bank financing as they have better options. If you are looking for a new or used car ask for Billy but be prepared to deal with the finance crew...and bring a lunch :) More
