The entire process of finding, testing and purchasing the car was extremely easy. The dealership provided a world class customer experience and really breaks the mold of how we view traditional dealerships. In addition to a great price, the sales and service staff were extremely professional & personable. My sales contact, Chris Whitehair did an amazing job working with me in setting everything up from start to finish. Chris really took the time to ensure I had all my documents in hand and ready to go prior to finalizing the deal in person. He was extremely respectful of my time & my appreciation of that trait was met with extreme gratitude. Scammers plain and simple These guys are scam artists. I put in a request to see a vehicle they had listed on their site. I get a call from someone from the dealership aski These guys are scam artists. I put in a request to see a vehicle they had listed on their site. I get a call from someone from the dealership asking when I would like to come check it out. I told them on Saturday and the lady told me great what time, set up a time for about 4pm, and she told me cool she would give me a call in the morning of Saturday to verify the car was still available (She knew I was driving from Longmeadow, MA). Saturday rolls around and I decide to get there first thing in the morning and leave around 8am. As I got closer to NYC I got a phone call from the dealership around 10:15 saying the car is still available. I get there, check in and am greeting by a salesperson. He greets me and my father politely and asks for our licenses and for the keys to my trade in. I do that and wait around for about 15 minutes. He comes back and says cool lets go for a drive. We get to the car and I see a yellow tag on the windshield that reads "Vehicle Not for Sale". I didn't think anything of it and continued into the car and we went for a drive. I asked questions about the car etc and we talked about financing. Once we got back to the dealership we sat down at his desk and he went to go do something, I am assuming to go talk to a manager. He comes back and says "I am going to be completely honest with you because you always treat someone how you would like to be treated". Continues to tell me the car is already sold. I asked how, we were the only ones there looking at the car and if it was already sold why would they allow us to drive it. He said literally two minutes ago the customer came in and put a deposit down. I smelled xxxxxxxx and could tell that the dealership just has that car on there as a too good to be true deal. Lesson learned just shop locally and don't believe their website. This is Monday and the car is still listed on their site for sale More

This has been a terrible experience for me. Took my car to get service and thought it will take only 1 week. However, I am still waiting on my car to be fixed (almost 1 month). The service sucks big time. The reasons I give 1 star is: 1) no phone calls to give me any updates on the status of my car (I had to reach out to them), 2) I was told there will be a $200 diagnostic charged come to find it is $416, 3) they didn't know what was wrong with my car, so they had to contact outside help 4) was told I needed to buy a battery because the battery was not compatible but the battery was not the problem. The real problem cause the battery to go dead. I use my car for work purposes so I had to come out of pocket $700 for rentals. The list goes on... More

Friendly; efficient; accomodating We can honestly say that we had a very good experience with all five of the dealerships we visited throughout the tri-state area. We visited Open Roa We can honestly say that we had a very good experience with all five of the dealerships we visited throughout the tri-state area. We visited Open Road not because we had even considered doing so, assuming a Manhattan dealership would be the most expensive, but because they responded to an internet query we made regarding prices in the local area and invited us to come and visit. When all was said and done, to our surprise, Open Road offered the best "deal" which of course is what we were shopping for. Jeff Hodge our salesman was very businesslike but friendly and accommodating. We did not feel pressure though we wanted a vehicle (Jetta SE TDI) of a particular color that was not available on Open Road's lot. We feel Jeff made every effort to locate and acquire the exact vehicle we wanted from another dealer and he accomplished it in good time as he knew we needed the car by a certain date. P.S. Would like to add this. We are 5th and 6th generation VW owners - from a Beetle (early 60s), to Squareback (Beetle totaled), to a '77 Rabbit (new), to a Fox wagon (used) , to a '97 Jetta GL (used) and finally to the present Jetta SE TDI (new). Perfect cars? - most; nobody is perfect; had problems with the electrical on the Fox. But have to say have been pleased and well served over the years. The cars have been reliable and of course - fun to drive. More

They left no question unanswered and made sure the process was as effortless as possible.
