Normally the Service team at the dealership is outstanding. In performing a recall on the fuel pump, someone did not reconnect the filler tube to the new fuel pump, and we had a near catastrophic outstanding. In performing a recall on the fuel pump, someone did not reconnect the filler tube to the new fuel pump, and we had a near catastrophic result of gasoline at the pump funneling directly to the ground causing a 2-3 gallon puddle of gas at the pump. Fortunately, we moved the Tacoma forward out of the puddle, and called the dealership. They immediately repaired the oversight and gave us a tank of gas as compensation for our troubles. I am glad that we did not have a fire, and that the service people were so accommodating us in a time a immediate need. I still love my truck, and will still go to this dealership for service. More
My Toyota Tundra was displaying an ambiguous set of symptoms that wasn’t straightforward to diagnose. The worse case scenario was replacing the transmission. But BBT techs took a reasoned approach to problem solving and fixed the issue well short of just punting the ball, and then spent no small amt of time making sure the issue was fully addressed. In the end the fix cost me only $250. You guys rock! More
