I had an appointment scheduled for 9am for an oil change. They asked if I preferred to stay, I asked them to call me when it was finished. I called the service department back at 12:45pm looking for an updat They asked if I preferred to stay, I asked them to call me when it was finished. I called the service department back at 12:45pm looking for an update and they let me know my car was still getting worked on. At 1:30p, they called me to let me know my car was done and I rode over to the dealership. I sat in the waiting room for another 25 minutes before asking the secretary a status update, and she brought me back to the service department that let me know it was then going through the car wash. I asked them why they called to tell me my car was done before it was actually done and they told me that they get cars done in the order they come in, despite the fact that I had an appointment 6 hours prior. This caused me to lose out on an entire days work since it took the majority of the day for this routine check to be completed. More
