I took my vehicle in for service and keep in mind I bought the truck new and it only had 2,000 miles on it when I took it in. One of my complaints was rattling noises coming from the passenger side whe bought the truck new and it only had 2,000 miles on it when I took it in. One of my complaints was rattling noises coming from the passenger side when the music was playing. I had spoke to one service advisor and they had informed me they would relay the message to the other service advisor that was assigned to me when I made the appointment online. After the appointment the service advisor told me they couldn’t get the noise to replicate. They said they took it on a 5 minute test drive and no noise was heard. I asked if they turned on the music at all which she had advised me they didn’t. I asked why as it is a problem with what seems to be a speaker or loose door panel. She had told me she wasn’t informed of that. So they took it back and said there is definitely something going on with the speakers and would have to return another day for an electrical technician to be in to look at it. I said ok. 2 days went by expecting a phone call to schedule but I didn’t receive one so I called in and scheduled the appointment. She informed me they would have to have my truck for 2 days. I said ok and had asked for a loaner since they would have my brand new $80,000 vehicle for multiple days. The service advisor said that they have to diagnose the issue first before anything could be done. So I dropped the truck off and 2 days went by. I did not hear anything back so later in the 2nd day I had called in and said they were working on it and would call back once they heard an update. I got a call back and the advisor had informed me that the front dash speakers are faulty and need to be replaced. She had stated it was due to the bass being turned up on the factory head unit and that the stock upgraded bose speakers could not handle that and had said “we will cover it for you this time” as it was my fault and said the bass can’t be turned up. She had informed me they would have to order the speakers and drop my truck off for a day again. It has been a couple of weeks and I haven’t heard anything back from the dealer. My whole experience with this service advisor has been not good and they need to work on their customer service skills. More
