Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced in terms of car repair. I feel like I was over charged for simple work. ($116.67 for parts and $686.97 in labor). I spent almost $1000 and still didn't get the main issue repaired that I primarily came in for which was to have my AC repaired. The Service advisor, Jon Degroot’s service was horrible. He didn’t listen to me at all as I was explaining my concerns to him. I left the service department with the feeling that Jon made me pay for work that I necessarily didn’t need to have done right away. He treated me differently by making me pay upfront for service before he would let the technician know that is was ok start working on my vehicle. I don’t like pulling the race card but I feel that he made me pay upfront because I was a person of color. He refused to grant any transmission service request unless I was able to provide prior transmission service. I asked for my spark plugs and wires to be changed but that service wasn’t completed for whatever reason. I asked to have my brakes diagnosed because they were squeaking. I was told everything looked good with my brakes but I still left the repair shop with squeaky brakes. 😏 I really had high hopes when I made the decision to take my car to Palms Chevrolet for service but I left with little enthusiasm to ever return for future service. More

I received very personalized and very informative service by Francesca from the time I brought the vehicle in until the work was completed and I left. She kept me updated on the status of the work and let me know exactly what was done as far as corrective action, I was so impressed with her that I requested that she set herself up to be my, full-time service representative. I just sent her an email yesterday checking about whether or not I needed to have service on my vehicle because it got very low mileage just under 2000 miles but just at two years and been serviced one time. I wanted to get her opinion on whether or not, it should be serviced even though there's not that many miles on the oil and etc. from last time it was serviced. It's good when you have confidence in your service rep to the point where you ask them and have enough trust and they're gonna give you an answer, I feel that way about the dealership. More
