I ordered a van in April and Cole M. was good about keeping me up to date on the progress of my order. Cole is very personable and I recommend him as a salesperson. My only frustration came at the keeping me up to date on the progress of my order. Cole is very personable and I recommend him as a salesperson. My only frustration came at the point of purchase. The sales manager couldn’t find where they had taken my deposit and I literally had to scroll through my bank account on my phone from 4 months back and show them. They STILL did not want to let that issue go because it was Saturday and “Accounting” wasn’t there to verify what I was showing them. They actually offered to NOT give me the discount and then reimburse me later if it all checked out. I was literally showing them a bank statement that showed the transaction clear my account! Secondly, we purchased (in cash, full) a Jeep from this same dealership in 2017. They offer another rebate if you can show that it is registered in your name. They have all of this information already, but while I was there, I had to figure out on my phone how to access car registrations, and print a duplicate copy of the Jeep registration. Mind you, they registered the Jeep for us at the point of purchase in 2017. Again, they were NOT going to give me this discount. And we are not talking about a $5,000 discount, it’s $500. They didn’t feel like they could risk it I guess! Lastly, I brought a check to purchase the van in full. I was then told I couldn’t take the van because they had to wait until our check cleared. So, I left the dealership with absolutely nothing, not even a receipt, for my $60K purchase. Then they said it might be until TUESDAY until they call me. Don’t get me wrong, everyone is friendly and Cole always returned my calls with a smile. I just got frustrated with the actual purchase, which had nothing to do with him. Too many hoops to go through and they are NOT going to give you the benefit of the doubt, even if you are a repeat customer. I would name names of the folks that kept Cole and I running, but they are always the mysterious “Sales Managers” in the “special” area up front. They guy I signed all the paperwork with was great, and very efficient, by the way. No high pressure for extra stuff at all. So at the point of purchase, please be ready with all the paperwork ahead of time, because you will be working for your rebates! More
