purchasing a new/used van I stopped by the dealership to see if they had any used minivans available and to see how the Kia Sedona stacked up against other vans. I was not planning on buying anything that day, just looking, but when Peter Bailey approached me to see if he could help with anything we got to talking and he showed me a couple of used Sedonas. There was also a Dodge Grand Caravan on the lot so I looked at that as well. I was very impressed with the features on the Caravan since I have a shoulder replacement and severe arthritis I needed a car in which the seats were easily collapsed and stowed away completely so that my dogs would not hurt themselves on any rails or protruding items in the cargo space. Peter and I went for a drive in the Caravan and I found that it handled very well. and had great pick-up. Not wanting to lose the chance to purchase the vehicle, Peter Bailey and I sat down to do some calculating and to see what I could get for my traded in Hyundai Sante Fe. Although it took awhile of back and forth, an agreed upon price was finally set and Peter took me to see Colton Tannenbaum about getting extended warrantees on the car. The only drawback to this negotiation was having to get a certified check for the purchase since I had to arrange for money transfers. No one can be expected to buy a car and drive it home on the same day if financial arrangements have to be made. I found everyone to be very helpful, however, including Cathy Stephens and found that working with the employees and salespeople to be a very pleasant experience. More
