With all that being said, It wasn't until I needed my permanent license plate and title did the whole thing go off the rails. I'm not going to go into all the frustrating details, other than stating that my salesman's promises to have my tag before the temporary expired were completely broken - I was driving around on an expired tag for over a week! This left me looking in my rearview mirror worried about being pulled over. The lack of follow-through left such an overall bad impression that I'm glad the whole thing is over! Excellent Experience Found a Passat on Paramount's website that I really liked but was concerned about the 2 hr distance from Greensboro to the dealership in Hickory. Mark Cloninger helped answer all my questions and was transparent about the vehicle condition and the sales process. My only concern or feedback is that the "DOC Fee" is higher than any dealership I've seen before. However, when you consider the great representation of the car online, that they completed all the paperwork for me, delivered the car to my driveway on the same day, the fee is much easier to overlook. I've never had such a simple, yet satisfying vehicle purchase before and would highly recommend to anyone. More
