I went to the dealership for a service recall and also wanted to fix my left side door handle, which was a paid service. The service advisor checked me in and asked if I needed a ride home. I later approved the $520 quote over the phone, but when my wife became unavailable, I called back to ask for a ride. She respectfully declined, saying they were open until 6 PM and I could come before then. I felt disappointed—spending nearly $500, yet no help with a ride, while other dealers offer that even for an oil change. I ended up taking an Uber. When I arrived, she charged me the full amount before explaining that the labor would be billed separately on Monday (it was Friday). I told her it was over my budget and asked for a refund. She couldn’t process it that day, but I received it on Tuesday. Overall, the miscommunication and lack of customer care left a bad impression. As long as I’m in Gainesville, I won’t consider buying another Ford ,because I wouldn’t want to return there for service. More
Courteous welcome when I stopped to make my appointment. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of time, however Devon immediately took my truck back to service.
