My husband brought my daughter’s car to the dealership a week prior to me, the check engine light was on. Since it went off they sent him away stating there was nothing they could do. The light came on week prior to me, the check engine light was on. Since it went off they sent him away stating there was nothing they could do. The light came on again, this time I went straight there. I was charged $160 for a diagnostic (ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS) but since it was under warranty still, we proceeded. We were told it was the thermostat and O2 censor and it would be $997 (ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS) to fix. I called for 2 days to discuss this with the service guy who mysteriously disappeared because I could not get him after several calls and voicemails. When I went there to pay no one discussed anything with me. The guy simply printed my receipt and told me to go pay. Literally no customer service. As I was paying I asked the cashier for the detailed packed she was trying to withhold since no one actually broke down what my $160 revealed. I finally had the car towed down to Buick (that’s what type of car it is). I did not need the O2 censor replaced and fixing the thermostat was was less than over half the price. I will never purchase anything from Nissan again. More
