I first met the service team when my 2001 auto was towed it...they were not over solicits even though I was sure my old car was toast. When it became clear it was toast and I needed a car TODAY...I shopped it...they were not over solicits even though I was sure my old car was toast. When it became clear it was toast and I needed a car TODAY...I shopped on line ,but that looked as scary as breaking down in a busy intersection! I knew how I felt from the service team. Mike was called to help! Listened to budget and must haves. He found a perfect one and at no time did I ever feel pressed or not car "smart"...P.S. I'm so not car smart! So it began! They were wonderful...they even gave me trade in money...I really thought I would need to pay someone to haul it away! Then to the pesky money thing. Raquel has a "working" person mentally... interest rate is HUGE for me...may not know cars, but simple math I get! Bottom line...that dealership just earned my trust. as a side note...I would have not looked at Hyundai...til I drove it. It really feels solid. More

Richi and his fingers worked magic to get us the best possible deal on our loan, and he also included some extra immenities. Thanks Richi for giving us your signed photo of Randy Gradishar. That made a great night even better. All the way home, we talked about his career with the Broncos and all of the spectacular plays he made. We both agreed it was a darn shame that he is not in the Hall of Fame. We were so glad our daughters looked to him as a role model. Dennis and I will cherish his picture, and possibly show it off to our daughters to make them jealous. More
Have you ever been in a spot when you needed a car immediately to replace an older one? How about needing to make the purchase and then have the vehicle sent accross the country to your college kid? Have you ever had to buy 2 cars a month apart from each other and worry about how it could possibly be financed? Well, let's put all three of those things together and that's my story. When I made a call to Richi Carni in desperation about needing to make a purchase for my college kid "today" and get it sent to her "asap", he said, "No problem. We'll figure it out." Betty Chen was put on duty and set up a time for my husband and I to meet her at the expo center. Richi had told her what type of vehicle we were looking for: safety important, AWD important, used and in good shape. When we arrived, we did a test drive on a Santa Fe and knew it was the car for our girl. The price was a bit higher than we expected, but Richi did "MAGIC" and we were not only financed, but everything about the deal was exceptional; beautiful SUV, perfect financing, a way to get it to her ASAP and payments we could afford. Only Richi could figure all of that out! In my 30 years of purchasing cars, I have NEVER gone back to the same dealer, but Chapel Hills Hyundai has earned our trust! This was our second visit in less than 45 days. They have the best employees; smiles, no pressure, in addition to clean and comfortable waiting areas, and they really make you feel like they are 'on your side'. They understand what you are asking for and you walk out knowing they have your back! Thank you, Richi, Betty & Raquel for "going to bat" for our family. We appreciate everything you have done for us and we'll be back when I need a car! Those kids of ours got the first two, but you'll have our business for the next two, at least! P.S. Richi cheated me out of $2202 when he included a service contract in my sales contract which I did not realize and was not asked about and when I went back to talk to him about it he was very condesending a contract in my sales contract which I did not realize and was not asked about and when I went back to talk to him about it he was very condesending and rude. Tell me that I had to keep it and that I should pay attention to what I sign. I assumed that the paper and the deal which Clint Brown and I had worked out was on the paperwork which Richi typed up--it should not have include an extended service contract of $2202. That may not be allot of money to Mr. Carni, but it certainly is to me. I have so far not been able to find anyone at that dealership to help me with. More
The employees that worked with my wife and I is a credit to the organization. We approached the dealership expecting a high pressure sale pitch, instead we were greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly sm to the organization. They listened to us as we outlined our requirement and worked deligently to fulfill our needs. When all was said and done we departed the area with the car that I purchased for my wife as a Christmas present and with several new found friends. Kudos to Betty, Rick and Raquel for attending to our needs and enduring hours of questions without tiring and displaying an ounce of frustation. I would like to a give special hug to their lovely English bull dog that welcomed us and kept our spirits high while locating the perfect vehicle. More

They recommended me to ask Betty Chen, they said she was very knowledgeable and would help me get the best price on a used car. Sure enough within 2 days she had found me a car and I loved it. It was everything I wanted and needed to start college. She answered all my questions and concerns and was very helpful. After coming to a deal on the price and extras, she directed me to Richi. He was so helpful and knew about everything he was talking about in very deep depth. I could sincerely tell that he wanted to help me get the best possible deal. He also threw in some helpful advice about driving and life skills. Not what you come to expect in a finance manger,but it was definitely worth listening to and very helpful. When I left the dealership I was amazed at how they treated me very well and I felt like they were always going to be there when I needed help with something. For people looking for used or even new cars, I would strongly recommend this dealer, along with these two wonderful people who helped pick out my very first car. More

I cautiously reached out to Phil Long Hyundai as my previous car buying experiences were always traumatic. Memories of pushy, over-bearing, women-intimidating, 8 hour shopping days and the sales manager sitting on a raised platform came rushing into my mind. I took a breath and shared that I was comparing a Sonata with a Chrysler but wanted more information. Sean immediately sent information via e-mail. Over the next few days Sean checked in with me but was neither pushy nor intrusive. He just wanted me to know he was there if I had more questions. Around day 3 I sent an e-mail to Sean stating something to the effect of: Just let me pick out the car and you can bring it to me that way I can avoid all of the hassles. Well, surprising to me, Sean offered to “work for me” and if that is how I wanted the car experience to be, then that was his goal. He softened my heart. He extended the e-mail conversation to relay he was engaging his ‘best’ sales person to help pick out the perfect car. Betty Chen called me within the hour and e-mailed me a photo plus details regarding a 2012 silver Sonata. I responded it was awesome but could she find one in white? Within a few minutes, a shimmering white Sonata was appearing in my mailbox. We discussed the details and I promised to visit the dealership after work on day 3. When I arrived, I was greeted with a big hug and was immediately taken to see ‘my’ new car safely tucked under the canopy. Sean arrived to the visitor’s area and greeted me with a big hello and handshake then offered me something to drink and my fears faded quickly. Betty was very prepared for my arrival and was incredible. She made every effort to make me “at home” without being pretentious or fake. She was honest, kind, warm and genuine. We discussed many things but I had an appointment to run to. That forced her to cover a lot of information in a short amount of time. She quickly had me registered for the Bow-Wow club (or Dog-House club (smile) – customer referral club), had my new Blue Link configured and ready to go and an appointment set with Richi for the next day. Everything was like silk; smooth, elegant and awesome. As I looked around I did not see any sales manager poised in the high intimidation tower. Instead, I saw a comfortable, almost homey atmosphere where sales agents were greeting, chatting and talking with customers. The coffee was fresh and the water was cold. The sales staff were comfortably dressed and none were ‘lurking’ in the parking lot ready to pounce. The next day I was picked up at work, given a ride to the dealership to sign the finance paperwork and take home my new car. The finance appointment was right on time (aka, no waiting)and the information was complete. All the while Betty was getting my car dusted off and ready to give me a detailed tutorial of the features on the new Sonata. She was waiting on me (again, no waiting) and off we went. I was on my way in less than 2 hours. Well, in fact, I was back to work in less that 2 hours, so probably spent perhaps 90 mins total at the dealership. The staff valued my time and it showed. I am very greatful for their prompt attention to my needs and respectful of my busy work schedule. So, would I recommend Phil Long Hyundai? Absolutely! The deal was great, the atmosphere was not intimidating, the staff were incredible (Thank you Betty, Sean, Raquel and Richi!!) and oh, yeah, the car ROCKS! More
