The car looked nice as it was well polished and cleaned ( obviously ) and how well can you judge a car by just driving quarter of a mile as test drive. Its been 3 weeks, weather strips coming out- I had my doors frozen and snow coming inside everytime I opened the door. The rear tire blew on a fairly decent road while I was driving at 18Miles/Hour. They changed the tire with a loud and rough tire which has made it even worse. 3 weeks in and I am already thinking of selling my this car and not ever going back to PLANET HONDA. More

Stephen has a very calm approach to purchasing a new vehicle that complimented my overly detailed and hard charging personality nicely. More than the actual deal itself, which I thought was fair, I appreciated Stephen’s respect for my time. He did what he said he would, when he said he would, and made every effort to move me through the purchasing process quickly. I find that the sales process can be overly time consuming particularly in a large dealership like Planet Honda but Stephen made me feel as though he was escorting me through the process as quickly as possible, anticipating needs on both sides, and being flexible with my individual needs. We agreed on a fair price and there was never a different number discussed after that point. If history is any indication, I’ll be leasing another new Honda in a few years and you can be sure I will be reaching out to Stephen directly to do so. I recommend you do the same. More

Good Customer Service & great Service Adviser I love my Honda car dealer. I bought my certified used car from Planet Honda close to 4 years ago and from that time the only place I take my car aka I love my Honda car dealer. I bought my certified used car from Planet Honda close to 4 years ago and from that time the only place I take my car aka Henry, to go and get service is at Planet Honda. The customer service there is so wonderful. The service techs that are outside to get your service going are always so kind. And honestly the best part is my service adviser Luis. Luis is stop notch, he is always honest with me and wants the best for Henry (that is my CRV). He calls to make sure you are very up to date and he goes above and beyond. Dealing with a lot of customer service places Planet Honda and Luis definitely get a 5/5 from me. I have referred so many friends to go there for their Honda, and say always ask for Luis. More

There has been such a decline in the service department customer service over the last 2-3 years. I am a customer that always waits while my car is being serviced. Today I brought my car in with a Bluetooth issue and was told a special technician had to look at it and wait time would be about 3 hours. I was never told this upon making my appointment. I took the day off today to do this but I was not going to wait 3 hours. This information had to be told when I was making appointment. So frustrated and dissatisfied. A few years ago when the twins were there the department ran efficiently and customer service was a priority. More

On 2/16/2019 I attempted to lease a 2019 Honda Civic I want to ask everyone to read and share this review, so that this never happens to anyone again. On 2/16/2019 I attempted to lease a 2019 Honda Civic from Planet Honda. *Full disclosure: I do not have bad credit I have "light credit" Planet Honda had come to me with an offer of $1,000 cash down and $375 a month. I was in dire need of a car and a little desperate so I agreed to the terms even though they seemed high. However, Planet Honda did not have an approval on those terms. So what they did was receipt my deposit and have me sign a "Retail Order" not a contract. A "Retail Order" is NOT a BINDING CONTRACT, but more as a receipt that shows the terms of the agreement. They gave me the car to take home and asked that I came back on 2/20/19 to sign the actual contract. (This is called a temp and recision) So you know a "temp and recision" is what dealers use when they do not have an approval so that they can get you committed to the car and work on your approval. Now part of that agreement is if the dealer can not get you approved you must return the car. (Keep this in mind as this review goes on) In the state of NJ there is no 'Right to Recision" for a customer to cancel a binding loan contract after sign a law contract or lender lease agreement. However, you may cancel or rescind if you never signed either of those. So on 2/19/19 I returned with the Honda Civic to return the vehicle and ask for my deposit to be reimbursed. I was met by my salesperson Alex and the Sales Manager Luis. When I explained that I could not afford the car with insurance and would like to return the car they both went on to: 1.) talk about cheaper insurance 2.) insult my credit (again my scores 650) At this point I left the vehicle and decided to cool off. Of course the salesman Alex followed us and I tried to have a "heart to heart" conversation with him, but what he did was put the keys on the hood of the car and threatened that it was my car and they were going to tow it. With those tactics I was left to cal the police just to make a report that the vehicle was in their lot and make notes that there was absolutely no damage. So now within minutes of leaving I received several messages and emails threatening me to keep my deposit (Illegal), They would be the lien holder (you can not because there is no contact) and take me to court (I am ready). Please review the photos of the unethical tactics they have done. Now on to Mr. Feinstein who represents himself as "General Council" (Lawyer) and/or "Managing Owner". If this is true that Mr. Feinstein is a lawyer/ General Council than he should know that these tactics are unethical and immoral. And if he the is "Managing Owner" then he should not want his customers treated this way. But you know what they say "xxxxxx see, xxxxxx do" hence why his staff started with threatening tactics. Now if you noticed the photos I uploaded one of them was an overnight delivery (as a certifed document). I responded to this letter asking for all documents I signed including what they say is a legal loan contract and/or assignment. Although, they overnighted their threats I asked for these items within 2-3 business days. Today is March 1st, and still nothing. I ask once again that everyone reads, shares on all social media and boycotts not the purchase of Honda, but purchasing from Planet Honda! I will be contacting Honda Financial services, BBB, NJ Car and the New Jersey Bar Association along with all local news and radio stations to open a full investigation on this company. If they have done this to me they are doing this to you and their past customers. Please pass this along, come forward and we might have a class action lawsuit. P.S. I ended up leasing the same exact car from another dealer for $91 less a month and signed my papers within minutes. *Note: They are scammers! More

He was so friendly and he patiently answered our questions and reviewed the maintenance work that had been done on the car. Best customer service I love this place. Customer service is exceptional. My car was due for an oil change and I didn't have time to make an appointment so I decided to do I love this place. Customer service is exceptional. My car was due for an oil change and I didn't have time to make an appointment so I decided to do a walk-in. Since it was rush hour, I was prepared to wait for hours. Kirk Colon was my Service Advisor and I was done in 1hr 30mns. He was very courteous and efficient. I came into this dealership with high expectations and thinking I would not walk out with what I wanted within my budget. I must say I walked out of there within my budget and an extremely happy customer. I've been to many dealerships in the past, but I honestly must say I would not want to deal with another salesman after dealing with Carlos. I normally do not do reviews, but I definitely want people to be aware of the great person and salesman Planet Honda hired. He listens and answers all your questions. He is realistic but, does his best to keep you within your budget. Additionally, he is an individually with a great spirit. My husband and I walked out with 2 cars and very, very happy.
