EXCELLENT SALES REP, PUSHY OVERWHELMING FINANCE GUY As soon as I walked into dealership, I met a very friendly down to earth sales rep by name of Jean Lenard. I explained to him my purchasing situation As soon as I walked into dealership, I met a very friendly down to earth sales rep by name of Jean Lenard. I explained to him my purchasing situation and offered me and my son something to drink right off the bat. I explained my price range and was able to find me 5 vehicles within my price range. He wasn’t pushy or overwhelming and was very understanding to our needs. He got me car fax on all cars and even showed me the vehicles up close. AMAZING sales rep. After choosing the vehicle, credit checks, paper works etc. etc. i was handed to the FINANCE GUY. At first he seemed very pleasant and friendly. After going over warranties and GAP insurance, i’m pretty sure it was over 30min. It was a lot of information to take in and was very pushy as far as purchasing top tier warranty. Little did he know my brother is a mechanic for HONDA and can fix ANY issues, if any, i may have with car. It was a CERTIFIED USED CAR and is partially covered as far as warranties but the FINANCE GUY made it seemed like we were purchasing an excuse my language a piece of lemmon xxxx. At this point i was ready to walk out and realized my son did need this car and was in prestigious condition and remembered my brother’s love of services for Honda. I refused all warranties but purchased the GAP INSURANCE. At this point the FINANCE GUY’s personality went from friendly and pleasant to aggressive, aggravated and tempered. At this point we just wanted the keys and the MONTHLY PAYMENT we were promised and NOT an added close to 150-200$$$ additional payments. After we signed all the paper work he stated that if we don’t put a 5 star on the survey my EXCELLENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE JEAN LENARD will not receive any commendable actions for his EXCELLENT SALES TECHNIQUE. The FINANCE GUY gave us all our aggressively torn paperwork and showed us out. We were just so glad we were done and i held my temperament during this interaction with the FINANCE GUY. I ended up paying an additional 15$ more a month for the GAP but wasn’t going to be bullied into purchasing a warrenty i KNOW i did not want or need. JUST REALY HOPE MY SALES REP GETS ALL THE PRAISE HE DESERVES FOR EXCELLENT SALESMANSHIP. More
