Long version: After a disastrous experience at a 3rd party bulk dealer, I decided it would be worth any extra expense to find a Porsche with a CPO warranty from Porsche, even though as a long-timer in the automotive field, I've always resisted buying from dealerships in general. I didn't explain much of this to Shane, so the experience I had with him is likely representative of how professional and attentive he is to every one of his clients. Shane, without any sob story on my end, had already prepared extensive information on the Macan I had phoned about, ensured all possible objections regarding this particular unit were addressed, and demonstrated incredible transparency throughout the process. I sold vehicles at a volume delearship myself years ago, and watching Shane was like re-watching the lifer salesman who showed me the ropes conduct a hands-on masterclass in how to qualify a customer, present a vehicle, ask the right questions to understand his client's needs and wants, and carry the deal through to close. Shane, and PNO, have reversed my apprehension towards dealerships and have earned a lifetime customer. Even as a lowly 'old used porsche' customer, PNO, and Shane particularly, made the entire process feel like an event rather than a transaction, something I would only expect if I was spending another decimal point to the right with Porsche. I look forward to continuing business with Shane (and PNO) for as long as they'll have me as a customer.
