I am a Porsche guy, a proud current owner of four vehicles and in the market for a nice one for my wife, I was in the market for a 2012 Cayenne S, CPO. Communication started great with prompt emails and calls then things changed. I was in communication with Scott McCloud for almost three weeks, keep in mind the holidays slowed things down. He was quick to send documents, build sheets, pictures, etc. Then, over the last week, he more or less disappeared. I had to call him all the time, a complete contrast to typical salesmen. I had my bank ready to send the money but needed to finalize a few things, like shipping and paperwork (sale order). California law doesn't allow a cash/credit hold, so I knew I had to act quick. Scott said to fill out a credit app, send my license and insurance card plus my credit card and he would ask his boss to 'hold' it as we finalized the deal. A loophole, if you will, enabling out of state buyers to work things out due to fact distance plays a role. I emailed all the forms but for some reason he 'never received' the credit app. I resent it and faxed it. I asked if he received and he never replied. I texted him, nothing. I called, nothing. No returned calls. After a 36 hour gap, he said he wishes he could hold the car with what he had but couldn't. The next morning I called the office, he was off. I called the ASP and asked if she received the fax, she did and I was given to his partner, Tim Churchill. He seemed nice. Briefed him. I emailed the info to him (again) and no reply. The next day I called and emailed, nothing. Finally, I received an email late in the day, two min before close stating the car that was supposed to be mine was sold and he was not aware his colleague, Peter?, was working a deal over the week. Really? Tim nor Scott knew this? What I think happened is Scott knew this and did not have the professional gull to tell me. This is why he stopped replying and promptly calling me back as he did a week+ prior. How did he receive all the docs but not the credit app he needed? I had no bounced emails. I am sure he did receive the app and used the email stating he could not hold it without it as 'an out'. Sadly, I never received a call from the dealership to say something about the entire process. Anything. We al spent a lot of time working this deal. I am not asking for an apology but how about some more explanation in what happened. Nothing from Scott, Tim or Edward, the sales manager. So much for living up to classic Porsche customer service. Not a great way to treat a PCA member since 1998 and a true Porschephile. I am sure they had every intention in selling the car but I am sure I was a bother since I am an out-of-state shopper. Why not just sell to a local buyer? So much for a family-style dealership taking care of good paying customers. My thoughts? Out-of-state buyers, run far away. Go to Gaudin in Las Vegas, where I purchased my Cayman S or Hennessy In North Atlanta where my Boxster S came from--Perfect and nice. Classic Porsche service. I still cannot believe I did not receive an email from Scott saying something, like I will keep you in mind for something down the road, etc. This just tells you he is out for the easy sale or for the big sale. Sad. Never again. I do not want to hear form them every again. Good luck getting to the top ten in sales, guys. This is no way to the top. More

Bob makes you feel welcome, explains the vehicle features, and patiently places the purchase order. It was wonderful to have a true Porsche aficionado assist in assembling our first Porsche. From start to pickup, Bob provided both telephone and email updates of the build date and shipping details. The entire process including the finance department was a joyful experience. The Macan is a great vehicle for our needs and looks great! More

I bought my previous 911 turbo at Walter's as well. They always seem to have amazing low mileage pre-owned cars at the best prices and friendliest service in Southern California. This time I met Taylor Ferguson and enjoyed talking to him tremendously about the turbo S. Taylor is very knowledgeable about Porsche vehicles and a super nice person to work with. He was very professional, courteous and the entire sales process was without pressure, just wonderful. I can't recommend Taylor and the entire team at Walter's enough. They are super knowledgeable, down to earth, great to work with and their cars are much better priced then anywhere else in SoCal. By miles the best experience at any dealership anywhere as long as I have bought cars. Thank you Taylor for the great experience and rest assured that I will send everybody your way that might be interested in a Porsche. More

Both guys were extremely transparent about the cars history and some changes with the availability of the CPO warranty. With the GT3 being a less common car I have found that some dealerships are not very knowledgable about all of the details, but Bob and Ed know it all and were even familiar with the aftermarket parts on my trade-in 4S. My girlfriend and I had a great time talking with Bob while dealing with the paperwork. So much so that people were stopping by his office to see what we were all laughing about. Absolutely worth the drive from West LA. More

This will be the forth Porsche I have owned.I also have a Audi R8 that I drive on weekends but I must say that the Panamera GTS is by far the best overall car that I have ever owned ! I was referred to Scott McCloud a little over six years ago and is my go to guy for all my cars. Scott has helped my Brother and friends with their needs as well. Scott truely has a gift in anticipating what I like and always takes excellent care of me. Scott recently made arrangements to deliver the Panamera GTS to my beach house so I could spend more time with my family ! Scott diffinitly scored a lot of points on that one ! More
