BAIT AND SWITCH FINANCING AND RUDE SALES PERSON. I WLKED OUT I FOUND HELENA TO BE RUDE AND WAS NOT HONEST IN HER INFORMATION SHE TOLD ME. MY CREDIT RATING IS 790 AND I HAD SET UP 1.49% FINANCING FOR 60 MONTHS AN I FOUND HELENA TO BE RUDE AND WAS NOT HONEST IN HER INFORMATION SHE TOLD ME. MY CREDIT RATING IS 790 AND I HAD SET UP 1.49% FINANCING FOR 60 MONTHS AND THE. CAR WAS PREPARED FOR ME TO TKE DELIVERY SATURDAY APRIL 2,2016 . I DROVE DOWN IN A RAIN STORM FROM COLCHESTER( APPROX.1-1/2HRS, DUE TO WEATHER). SHE TOLD ME THAT SUBARU ONLY DOES 1.49% FOR 36 MOS. AND THAT THAT WAS THE DEAL FOR MARCH ONLY, AND IT WAS NOW APRIL. RATE IS 2.9% IF I WANTED 60 OR 72 MONTH FINANCING. I TOLD HER I SPECIFICALLY MADE MY DEAL BY THE 31ST OF MARCH TO QUALIFY FOR 1.49% INCENTIVE THAT WAS OFFERED FOR QUALIFIED BUYERS, AND I GAVE A $500.00 DEPOSIT TO LOCK IT IN. HELENA TOLD ME THAT THE DAY YOU BUY YOUR CAR DOES NOT MATTER IT, IS WHEN YOU TAKE DELIVERY AND DRIVE OFF THE LOT THAT COUNTS FOR PURCHASE DATE. SOME VILLAGE HAS LOST AN IDIOT IF YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT CROCK. (MY HUSBAND WAS A CAR DEALER UP UNTIL 2014, SO I KNOW ALOT OF THE WAYS TO MAKE $ FOR A DEALERSHIP). TO PROVE HER POINT SHE EVEN ASKED ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WALKING BY ," DOES SUBARU EVER GIVE LOW FINANCING FOR MORE HAN 36 MONTHS?" OTHER PERSON SAID, "OF COURSE NOT"! ( AS IF ANOTHER EMPLOYEE WOULD SAY NO YOU'RE WRONG! COME ON, GIVE ME A BREAK. I FOUND HELENA TO BE ABRUPT, CONDESCENDING AND MADE NO EFFORT AT ALL TO TRY AND CORRECT SITUATION. I BOUGHT THE CAR WITH INTERNET SALES PERSON,DAVID TAYLOR, AND HE WAS OFF FOR THE WEEKEND. HELENA DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTACT HIM BY PHONE. I WOULD HOPE THAT WITH A $28,000 CAR SALE THE MANAGER WOULD HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT MR TAYLOR AT HOME TO FIND OUT THE FACTS OF THE FINANCING THAT HE AND I TALKED ABOUT AND WAS , I WOULD ASSUME, OK'ED BY MANAGEMENT BEFORE HE GOT THE CAR READY FOR ME. IT MADE SENSE TO ME THAT DAVID AND I MUST HAVE AGREED TO THE FINANCING BEFORE HE WOULD DETAIL AND READY A CAR FOR THE NEW OWNER. UNFORTUNATELY HELENA DID NOT SEE THE LOGIC IN THIS AND MAINTAINED HER STANCE THAT SINCE IT WAS NOW APRIL SHE HAD NEW FINANCING INCENTIVES FOR ME AND WHAT I WAS PROMISED WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. TO PUT THE TOPPING ON THE DISSATISFACTION OF YOUR COMPAINIES WAY OF DOING BUSINESS I HAD AUTHORIZED A $500.00 DEPOSIT ON MY CREDIT CARD. I GOT TO THE STORE TO DO PAPERWORK AND FIND OUT HELENA DECIDED TO PUT $1,000.00 ON MY CARD!! I WISH I HAD BOLD TO HIGHLITE THIS SENTENCE!, SHE CHARGED MY ACCOUNT $1,000.00 WITHOUT , I REPEAT WITHOUT, MY APPROVAL. I AGREED TO $500 NOT 2X THAT AMOUNT. WHEN I CONFRONTED HER ON THIS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE TO MY ACCOUNT SHE SAID,"WE DON'T DO ONLY $500.00 FOR A DEPOSIT, WE DO $1,000.00!" I FOUND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE SINCE DAVID, SAID I COULD LEAVE $200.00 IF I WANTED TO, BUT DEALERSHIP REALLY WANTS MINIMUM OF $500.00 IF IT IS AT ALL POSIBLE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT YOUR DEALERSHIP TOOK IT UPON ITSELF TO DOUBLE MY DEPOSIT WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME. FORTUNATELY I DID NOT PUT ANY OTHER CHARGES ON THAT CARD THAT NIGHT AS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN DECLINED PROBABLY. HER ACTIONS HAD MY CARD MAXED OUT!!! AS AN ASIDE TO THIS YOU REALLY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CUSTMER SIGNING PAPERWORK AREA. THERE WAS NO CONFIDENTIALITY OR EVEN SPACE BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND THE NOISE LEVEL WAS TERRIBLE!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN BUSINESS DONE IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE SMALLEST MOTOR VEHICLE DEPT.WAITING ROOM. I RESENT NO PRIVACY AND OTHERS BEING ABLE TO SEE AND HEAR MY FINANCIALS! IT IS SO, UNPROFSSIONAL, AND IT IS AS IF YOU ARE TOO CHEAP TO PUT CUSTOMERS EVEN IN A CUBICLE OR ANY SPACE WHERE THEY COULD HEAR THEMSELVES TALK AND HEAR WHAT SALES PERSON WAS SAYING. EVERY OTHER DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER GONE TO EACH DEALER HAD A DESK AND WERE FAR ENOUGH APART FOR PRIVACY. BENCHES FOR CUSTOMERS TO SIT ON AND OLD DESKS TO DO WORK ON- COME ON IT IS 2016!! GET A DESIGNER TO MODERNIZE AND MAKE YOUR WAITING AND SHOWROOM PRIVATE, SO YOU CAN TALK MONEY WITHOUT THE WHOLE ROOM HEARING!! I AM FORWARDING THIS LETTER TO SUBARU , THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU. I ALMOST FORGOT THIS ALSO HAPPEND--- ON MONDAY 4/4/16 SOMEONE FROM SUBARU CALLED AND WANTED TO KNOW IF MY EXPERIENCE WITH DEALERSHIP WAS GOOD OR NOT. I WAS CURIOUS IF SHE WAS FROM CORPORATE AS I HAD SENT IN A COMPLAINT SUNDAY EVENING ASKING FOR SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME. I GUESS SHE WAS NOT FROM CORPORATE AND WAS FROM PREMIER INSTEAD. Effectively a SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLAR conveyance fee -- Beware A conveyance fee is generally supposed to compensate the dealership for its costs in processing the paperwork and taking care of the DMV registration; A conveyance fee is generally supposed to compensate the dealership for its costs in processing the paperwork and taking care of the DMV registration; usually these fees are somewhere between $200-$300. At this dealership, they add FIVE HUNDRED for the "conveyance fee" and then charge ANOTHER $195 to register the vehicle. That's $700 for what costs them around $250. Stay away. More

I had been thinking about a Subaru since I had guided my daughter to purchase an Impreza three years earlier. So, that same night around 7:30 pm I went to the Branford Premier Subaru dealership and started walking around to look at the used cars available. To my surprise (it was freezing cold that night), someone came up to me and asked if I needed help. That was salesperson Michelle Caron! With that small step of initiative, she was awarded the purchase of my new Legacy the next day. The expedited service was appreciated and I am very happy with my Legacy. It is a superior product and I look forward to having my car serviced at Subaru as well. If you are looking for a Subaru, look no further. More

He listened to what we wanted, let us look around at models we "thought" we might want and then matched us with the perfect car for our needs. Once we had the car picked out, Luke spent a lot of time explaining the features, going over the costs & crunching the numbers until we were happy & had the exact car with the features we wanted. Doing all the paperwork with Rod the day we picked up the car was a nice surprise as well.... he was thorough & funny which is a great mix! We found Premier Subaru thanks to friends who told us what a good experience they had had... and, we in turn will pay it forward by recommending Premiere Subaru to others! More
