Don’t xx the customer At the time of purchasing my 2015 Legacy 3.6R, I heard a ticking noise in the heater fan motor. I brought it to the attention of the salesman, and he At the time of purchasing my 2015 Legacy 3.6R, I heard a ticking noise in the heater fan motor. I brought it to the attention of the salesman, and he sent the car into the shop for the issue to be repaired. I was told that in order to check the motor the dash would have to be torn apart which would be very time consuming, and that whatever was making the noise would “burn” off. The motor proceeded to become louder on the ride home. I replaced the motor the next day with a new assembly which I purchased from auto zone. The total repair time was less than 30 minutes. I am not very happy about this. *Update* 2/21/19 I called to request some needed financial information and was contacted back by Jane Martin. Jane couldn’t of been more courteous and helpful. Jane took care of my original question, and then took interest in the issues that I had with the dealership after I just very briefly mentioned them in conversation. Jane went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer, and took it upon herself to compensate me for the fan motor that I had to purchase. This refund was given even after being told by Will that there absolutely would be no refund for the motor. Thank you Jane for your professionalism and excellent customer service! More
