Online Price - Lure me in but not actually available! I contacted RC Hill upon seeing a 2018 Outlander PHEV Online for a price that I was VERY excited about and ready to purchase immediately at that price I contacted RC Hill upon seeing a 2018 Outlander PHEV Online for a price that I was VERY excited about and ready to purchase immediately at that price. However, very predictably, the salesman informed me that price was not available to me (due to being out of state). Then, when I expressed interest in hearing the "out of state" price, I was given a quote nearly $3,500 over the initial "Online Price". The salesman would also not provide me with the breakdown of the numbers via phone or email, which I continued to press on I was told "you'll get those details when you come in to buy the vehicle." Since I am out of state, this was not a reasonable response, so I again asked for at least the breakdown of taxes, dealer fees, and any other fees, which he reluctantly provided. I continue to be disappointed that car dealers can continue to post prices online to lure people in when they are not actually available. More
