Refused service/unprofessional I called to schedule an appointment for a 2016 X4. The back passenger window is defective after 6 months. At first the service rep was polite and he I called to schedule an appointment for a 2016 X4. The back passenger window is defective after 6 months. At first the service rep was polite and helpful. I told her that we didn't buy the car there, but would like to have it serviced there. She put me on hold and suddenly came on the line and said that her manager (Matt) told her they had no more room to service any more 2016 cars- that they were at their max capacity for 2016 models. What does that even mean? And how do you get a new car fixed. Shouldn't they be apologizing instead that a car just 6 months old needs service in the first place? I said that I couldn't believe that they had no room for an appointment and asked if it was because we didn't buy the car there. No response to my question. I then asked to speak with Matt, but he was suddenly unavailable. First she "tried to find him" and was unable to and then when I insisted on speaking with him he was "in a manager's meeting." I am very dissapointed in this service center. If they don't service cars not purchased there, then they should just say so. It was very frustrating and the secretary seemed amused by my frustration when I told her that I would inform everyone I know about what had happened. I think it would have been fair of them to simply say that they give priority to cars sold by them...instead the phone call turned into a whole charade. More
