At my warranty work appt I was told at the last min it would cost $1000+ instead of free under manufacture warranty because one of the service writers said my truck was manufactured in Canada and the warr would cost $1000+ instead of free under manufacture warranty because one of the service writers said my truck was manufactured in Canada and the warranty doesn’t cover it. When we drop the truck off, I was told that the fuel pump need to be replaced. I let the dealer know that I needed the truck by Friday because I needed it over the weekend. I was told they had to order the parts and they would let me know on Wednesday on Wednesday I got a text saying they had the parts but that I also had a bad CV joint. I called and talked to the mechanic and reiterated that I needed the truck on by Friday afternoon and ask if we could get both done by Friday I was told yes, so I approved the CV joint when I called on Friday I was told the fuel system was much more expensive than originally thought and they would not be ready. This caused the problem because I had reservations now I had to cancel last minute and would most likely get charged several hundred dollars. The dealer did give me a rental car which is very appreciated and as it turned out, I was only charge $10 but it threw a xxxxxx wrench into my weekend plans. The repair was done very well and I appreciate it and everyone was very nice, but there could’ve been better communication More
