On the financial side, make sure to thoroughly review contracts. Seem to have some technical issues and the finance manager seemed to not notice that the terms and mileage of extended warranty period were N/A despite paying for that. I didn't notice until a few days later when I went to scan contracts in electronically. Notified them and was expected to drive the extra 45 minutes each way to correct whereas regular mail probably would have been sufficient. Nonetheless I had to stay on top of this to get it corrected. More

Good experience I went to Carmel first. They showed no interest, and I had to go up to one someone to ask for help. They tried very hard to talk me into a different I went to Carmel first. They showed no interest, and I had to go up to one someone to ask for help. They tried very hard to talk me into a different car than the one I wanted. At Fishers, they greeted me at the door, but the salesman did not seem to know very much. Still, I knew what I wanted, and they almost had a deal - until they claimed a misunderstanding (the salesperson said one thing, the finance person another) and tried to change the deal at the last second. I called Ray Skillman Westside Hyundai before coming out, and got David on the phone. He listened carefully to what I wanted, and worked to get me exactly the deal that I wanted. He didn't try to talk me into anything else and he made sure he had all the facts and had things in line with his team to be able to get me what I wanted before I even walked in the door. When I arrived there (with a friend for moral support), Jordy greeted us and talked to us while we waited on David and the finance manager, who were tied up with another customer who had come in before I arrived. It took a long time, but we were there on a holiday - July 4th - and I'm not sure they expected to be as busy as they were that day. When I did get in to sign the paperwork, the finance person was much more personable than the finance people we had met at the other two dealers. He was clear, concise, and pleasant and explained things well. They didn't have the exact car that I wanted (I wanted a color they didn't have on the lot) so they said they would get it from another dealer and deliver it to me the next day - and they gave me a different Veloster to drive until they could bring mine to me. The next day, Jordy brought the yellow Veloster to me and took back the other one. Jordy was great to deal with the whole time. He has also been the one to answer the few questions I have called in with since then, and has recommended the service department there, which I do intend to go to as needed. I am a single woman over 50, and I was very anxious about the whole process of looking for a new car. At Ray Skillman Westside Hyundai, I was treated like a valued customer even though I wasn't considering one of their most expensive cars. I appreciate that, and I will recommend them to others because of that. I also love my new Hyundai Veloster! : ) More
