Tim was awesome! He went above and beyond with helping me get my car to my house since this was a second vehicle for me! However, only about 300 miles later I had a leak that appeared to be fixed with a liquid sealant. The $200 max deductible cost me over $700 to have fixed at a reputable dealer. Also, when my title work was sent back to the dealership (as I work when my mail carrier tried to deliver the title to my house), I called multiple times to ask about it and was told to check the post office… 2 months later it was at the dealership, only nobody had checked 😒 My experience with Regional Hyundai has been horrible and costly. Tim is an awesome salesman. More
We have been very pleased with our interactions with our salesperson, Ryan Free and the finance receptionist, Dee, as well as the friendliness/helpfulness of other employees we interacted with. We also feel salesperson, Ryan Free and the finance receptionist, Dee, as well as the friendliness/helpfulness of other employees we interacted with. We also feel we got a decent deal on the vehicle we wanted. It's likely we would have given a rating of 5 were it not for our interactions with the finance employee we dealt with, Stephen. We feel like he was dishonest about a few things including an additional warranty, as well as flat out lying in order to sell us GAP insurance. Were these items not refundable, we would have been charged thousands of extra dollars we weren't comfortable with. We would like emphasize that even though this soured our entire experience, Ryan Free was wonderful to deal with, and we have nothing but good things to say about him. We are pleased with our vehicle thus far and had a great experience with Ryan Free and Dee, but based upon our experience with Stephen in finance, I would not feel comfortable recommending Regional Hyundai to anyone. The only scenario in which I would is if they're the only dealership with the vehicle they're looking for, and I would give the advice to work with Ryan for the sale, not Stephen in finance, and to be wary of other finance employees. I mention the last item because I'm not sure if Stephen is an outlier in the finance department or if that is how that department operates as a whole. Not only did we feel taken advantage of and lied to by Stephen, but in order to cancel the additional warranty, he instructed that we must come to the store in order to do so (where he still tried to talk us out of canceling). However, when we contacted Dee to cancel the GAP insurance, she emailed the form, making it easy and preventing a drive to the suburbs. So we also feel that he did not respect our time. Or perhaps it' that he was just looking for another opportunity to sell us something we obviously were not interested in. More
