Only take your car to Rivera if your car is under warranty!!! Be very careful make sure you take time to look at your bill and what they are going to charge you. I put my trust in Rivera, went for an oil change had a coupon for $79.00 they sent me and one for a complimentary multi point inspection. As you can see nothing was checked off on the multi point inspection except for the breaks and the tires. Had an appointment for 8:45 as you can see on the invoice they took my car in at 8:57 but yet they have no completed time for check out!!! The Charge for over $500 in labor is insane!!!!!!! The work they did should have been a standard price, if I would have made 3 separate appointments for the work they done on the car I would have saved hundreds!!!! Who charges a labor rate for an oil change!!! Again, nothing was checked off on the inspection, they have check floor mats!!!! Seriously check floor mats!!! I just don't get it!!! Even with the oil change they never checked my air filters!!! The service rep came to me once and told me to be patient, hind sight be patient means you’re getting screwed!!! I told her I wanted the car checked out for the winter to make sure it was safe, she came and told me I needed a battery and mentioned the injection cleaning and AWD I am not a car person did not know what it entailed not realizing i could have taking it anywhere and saved hundreds! Another red flag is when a sales rep came out and wanted to buy my car. She told me any work that was being done on my car would be reimbursed if I purchased a new car!! Another red flag I was being screwed!!! They jacked up the prices. I was seriously considering getting a new Rav 4 and also trading in my Prius. My car was good enough when it was in the shop but after I got home and looked at the bill realizing I have been screwed I called the and the service rep and she had the nerve to tell me what do you expect for a 7 year old car!!! Great!!! I trusted they would be honest trusted they checked over the car but again nothing checked off!! Not sure if they even did a multi-point inspection?? I always used Mt kisco toyota when my cars were under warranty and never had an issue. I was going to take my other Toyota to have it checked out but after getting hit with this bill I just do not trust them. If you do go be very careful and don't rush out, question everything. I wasted a whole day from work and spent close to $1,000 for basic services!!! Also, when you check out be careful they want you to pay by debit or check otherwise you get another 4% charge tacked on your bill!!! That’s allot of extra money tacked on. Moral of story don't trust them!!!! Do one service at a time. If I was using this car for myself and not transporting someone who was handicap I would have waited but my mistake was telling them why I wanted it fully checked out because they knew I was an easy target!!! More

Courteous, and prompt. We love the dealership and the Highlander. We have owned three of them starting in 2005. The 2021 is a better car than our 2017 Range Rover. Work was performed competently, but I was “sold” a maintenance service that was unnecessary (not in Toyota’s maintenance schedule for my vehicle’s age and mileage) and therefore unknowingly not covere maintenance service that was unnecessary (not in Toyota’s maintenance schedule for my vehicle’s age and mileage) and therefore unknowingly not covered by my prepaid maintenance contract since it was not a scheduled service. I didn’t know it wasn’t covered until after it was performed and I was billed while picking up my Tacoma. Very disappointing and unexpected given past experience which was good. It should have been clearly explained before it was performed, but it was not. If it was clearly disclosed, I would not have agreed to it. I responded as noted above to a text from the service adviser after pickup asking if there were any issues so that they may be resolved, but received no reply. I may consider using a different Toyota dealer as a result. More
