I went in for an inspection. Realized it was taking too long to hear back from service (an hour). I went in for an oil change. As always - the customer service rep recommended some other work given the number of miles on my car. OK fine. It took three hours for the representative to call me to her desk and tell me they found my car to be out of alignment and in need of a new tire and then asked if I wanted that done too. (another $400 and at least another half hour). That timing tells me they didn't even look at my car for about the first two hours of waiting. I did not have anything else done. I suspect the service center overbooks or is understaffed or both. But almost every visit is three hours. I have complained about this before. Not sure if I should try another Toyota location or just start using a local mechanic. More
