I was seriously considering purchasing a Ram 2500 from University Dodge Ram and traveling from out of state to Florida to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, the way this has been handled has left me University Dodge Ram and traveling from out of state to Florida to complete the transaction. Unfortunately, the way this has been handled has left me with serious concerns about the dealership's transparency and communication. I was told that this truck was a leftover 2025 with only 58 miles on it and that it still carried the new factory warranty. Although it was being advertised in their used inventory, the explanation I was given was that the new-car side of the dealership had transferred/sold the leftover truck to the used-car side. Based on that explanation, I understood this to essentially be a new/used leftover truck that had never really been put into service by a customer. With only 58 miles, I certainly wasn't expecting to discover significant damage. Nowhere in the online listing did I see any disclosure that this vehicle had damage. The damage was also never mentioned during my initial conversations with the dealership. In fact, knowing that I was an out-of-state buyer, they encouraged me to fly down to Florida to complete the purchase, which I was prepared to do. After examining the dealership's own listing photos more closely, I noticed visible damage to the front bumper. The bumper appears bent/deformed around the front license-plate mounting area, and the damage appears significant enough that the bumper may require replacement. Despite being visible in the dealership's photos, this damage was never disclosed in the listing or mentioned during my conversations with the dealership. I have included photos with this review so others can see the damage for themselves. Once I discovered the damage, I began trying to get answers. I left multiple messages with the finance manager, a sales manager, and the salesperson. Despite repeatedly trying to reach someone in management, I was unable to speak directly with a manager. When I finally spoke with the salesperson toward the end of the day, I specifically asked about the damage. I was told that he would send me detailed pictures of the damaged area so I could better understand its extent before proceeding with the purchase. Those pictures were never sent. What has been particularly frustrating is that nearly every time I have managed to speak with someone, I have been told they don't know the answers to my questions and need to speak with a manager. Yet when I ask to speak with a manager myself, I cannot seem to get one on the phone. I understand that vehicles can sustain damage while sitting on a dealer lot, and the existence of damage itself isn't necessarily the issue. My concern is the lack of disclosure and the way my questions have been handled. I was considering spending more than $60,000 on what had been represented to me as essentially a leftover 2025 truck with only 58 miles and the new factory warranty, and I was prepared to travel hundreds of miles to Florida to purchase it. Had I not carefully examined the dealership's own photos, I could have flown to Florida expecting an essentially new leftover truck and arrived only to discover visible front-end damage that had never been brought to my attention. For an out-of-state customer preparing to make a purchase of this size, I don't think expecting full transparency, prompt communication, and straightforward answers about the condition of the vehicle is asking too much. At this point, the combination of undisclosed damage, promised photos that were never sent, difficulty reaching management, and the overall lack of communication has made me seriously reconsider whether I am comfortable doing business with University Dodge Ram. I’m in the market for a preowned 19-20 Porsche Cayenne for my daughter. This dealership has a 19 Cayenne advertised on CarGurus (no additional dealer fees) and AutoTrader (dealer fees included) for $2444 for my daughter. This dealership has a 19 Cayenne advertised on CarGurus (no additional dealer fees) and AutoTrader (dealer fees included) for $24449. I had a mechanic inspect and test drive the car because I live in NYC. The vehicle checked out and it was time to talk numbers. The first quote I received was $36952 out the door including NYS sales tax, absolutely absurd. See picture for breakdown. $4000 for “optional enhancements”, LoJack, interior protection and window etch. $3447 on top of advertised price broken down as follows: $2000 extra for cash sale/no finance, $1447 extra because they’re not responsible for price discrepancies on a third party site. The dealer website has the car advertised for $25896 “TODAYS PRICE.” I spoke with Mark, the sales manager/numbers finagler who was behind this sales formula. He was gracious enough to counter the ridiculous offer with $32k out the door to which I declined. Within a minute of hanging up, the price for the Cayenne was changed to $25896 (dealer fees included) on AutoTrader. THIEVES ARMED WITH A PEN More

would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this dealership to think twice. I purchased a brand-new 2024 RAM expecting reliability and professional service. Instead, I’ve experienced no with this dealership to think twice. I purchased a brand-new 2024 RAM expecting reliability and professional service. Instead, I’ve experienced nothing but frustration. The first warranty repair involved the rear axle and took approximately six weeks. After finally getting my truck back, it didn’t even make it 400 miles before the rear axle failed again. That alone speaks volumes about the quality of the repair. The truck has now been sitting at this dealership for another two and a half months for the same warranty issue. Meanwhile, I continue making monthly loan and insurance payments for a vehicle I cannot use. Week after week, I receive nothing but excuses and promises that it will be ready “next week.” A warranty is meaningless if a dealership cannot properly diagnose and repair a vehicle within a reasonable time. The quality of the workmanship, the lack of urgency, and the poor communication have been extremely disappointing. This has been, without question, the worst dealership service experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Excessively slow repair service. My van is under warranty, and every time I have something go wrong (which is often), they have my vehicle on average for about a month. Buyer beware! Contacted Abner and Jeffrey about a 2026 Ram 2500 Limited that has been listed on their website and Autotrader for over a week. I went through the p Contacted Abner and Jeffrey about a 2026 Ram 2500 Limited that has been listed on their website and Autotrader for over a week. I went through the process arranging insurance, getting pre-approved for financing, and sending pictures of my trade-in. Took over 24 hours and a number of calls, as they were reportedly very busy. When finalizing the deal they tell me they made a mistake on their online listing and that the actual price was $6000 more! Then Abner states “they could get me approved for the higher amount.” Needless to say, this sent up RED FLAGS and I walked away from the deal. Don’t let yourself get scammed by this common sales trick!!! More
What a horrible excuse for an auto dealership. Over the last two weeks I have been working to purchase a "new but used" 2025 Ram 2500 with 35 miles. I don't understand how it can be used with only 35 miles, when it has never been sold, titled, etc and their way of explaining it makes no sense to me but ..... whatever I am not in the car business. I worked out the price and told the sales rep (several managers called, text, or emailed me over the last two weeks) that I would be flying in today, from Atlanta, and paying cash for the truck and driving it home. I got there and was told by one sales rep that "the truck is in the service bay having a battery replaced". I asked why, and was told it was under recall. That was not the case at all. In fact it was not a battery issue, and when I was told this (I actually overheard the conversation and asked what was going on) was then told to "wait an hour or two" so they could try to diagnose the issue. After a few hours, I am told that not only is the starter bad, so is the main computer, and it would be at least a couple days to fix it. When I asked why I was not told about the issues before flying down (I spoke to them on Saturday before flying down mm day) I was told “we couldn’t find the key so we didn’t know about the issue”. What???Add to that, a huge dent in the front bumper that was not disclosed, along with a couple good sized dents and scratches. I was told that "I should have seen that in the pics". I did not zoom way in on the far away pics on this vehicle, so maybe that's my fault. But I have sold many vehicles myself and ALWAYS show detailed pics of anything wrong - especially dents or scratches. This should be common sense for a dealership, but they made it out that it was my fault. OK whatever, so I decide to not buy a "used new" truck with computer and starter problems already with 35 miles, so decide to drive a brand new 2026 to see if maybe this dealership can work something out for all my issues on a different one. I was flat out told no - that price we are taking a loss on so there is no room. Really??? I just flew in, took a day off, spent over $1000 on flights, uber rides, etc and now have to fly back which means buying a same day flight, land late at night and find a ride home. The only thing I could get from them was "sometimes these things happen"...LOL. I hope nobody ever buys from this place. More
