I have had my car serviced at the rob sight Ford ever since I had bought it new from them back in 2016. When I would take it in for the oil change “the works”, they would supposedly do a maintenance che since I had bought it new from them back in 2016. When I would take it in for the oil change “the works”, they would supposedly do a maintenance check and a battery check was included in that. Yesterday, I went to change my battery at a different location and when the technician opened the hood he immediately noticed the corroded terminal/clamp. I called Rob sight Ford as to why they never told me that the terminal was bad if they did a battery test on my vehicle for every oil change in the last 5 years. The service representative told me that “it’s a visual and sometimes voltage test”. The corroded terminal is pretty noticeable if you just look at the battery and if you do a voltage check you should have definitely seen it. Just to add to this is all happening and being told to me after the warranty of the vehicle just recently expired and I have to pay for the parts and the labor. I spoke to another service representative that said it could have just been missed by the technician/mechanic who did the last oil change but in opinion if I paid for “the works" and it includes a battery test and you didn't do it why didnt I get charged just for a regular oil changes. More
