All I wanted to do was pay the price they advertised for the car. Looking at the itemized list I see thousands added for accessories such as LoJack, SafeCat and I can't even remember what else. I specifically went to this dealership because of a used car they had advertised, which was in my budget. Test drove the car and was interested in purchasing. Of course I realized there would be taxes, DMV fees, etc but the addition of their "non-optional" accessories was not in the budget. And they refused to remove them! After more discussion, and hours passing, they "did me a favor" and removed two of the accessories. When I would still not agree to sign the paperwork, I was told that the process was taking longer than normal because I refused to be flexible. Because I would only agree to pay the advertised price! They kept making tiny reductions to the LoJack and SafeCat but I finally had to walk out. I wanted to buy the car! Why did it need to take 4 hours and so much frustration?? Our initial salesman was actually a pure delight and he's the only reason I stuck around for as long as I did. I really wanted him to get the sale. I've been a customer of Roseville Toyota since Nov 2021. I always get great service from everyone there. This year during Memorial day weekend I met Farshad Baligh. Farshad helped me get out of a vehicle, which while very nice, is not my dream vehicle. I have wanted a plug hybrid ever since I last drove one in 2022. I told Farshad in very clear terms that I wanted certain features which are not available on all of the Rav4s. Farshad worked very hard to make the numbers work with my budget, and i drove off in the only vehicle on the lot which met all of my demands. I also want to thank Lori in the finance office made the simple act of filling out and signing forms, very enjoyable. I have worked with Lori a few times in previous visits to Roseville Toyota. On 4-6-2024 I went to Roseville toyota to service my car. Just a regular oil change. Upon their inspection the service department recommended that my front control arm is worn and needs replacing. I agreed to the service and picked my car up on Monday 4-8-2024. I have beentold that everything was in working order. 2 weeks after that my car starts making a clanking noise, and smoke came out of the tail pipe. My cars dashboard shows a warning to pull over asap due to car not safe to drive. I towed my car back to toyota and told Kyle, my service representative about the problem. The next day he shows me an estimate of $7800 for head gasket repair of my engine. Tells me that it was blown and needs replacing. Two weeks earlier when they had my car in the shop to change the engine oil and filter, they didn't notice anything wrong with my engine. Either they were incompetent or intentionally neglected to warn me of a major issue that could have feveloped into a life threatening. I had been a loyal customer of theirs for many years and am outraged at the poor treatment that I got. I would never trust them again with any repairs, even simple maintenance. More

Man, let me tell you about my trip to this dealership. I thought I was gonna score a great deal on a car, but it was a total mess. I had to hang around for two whole hours because they hadn't even smog checked it yet. And those add-ons they're so keen on selling? Turns out they're optional, despite them acting like they're a must-have. And when I tried to push back, the manager hit me with some lame excuse about it costing more to remove them later. Yeah, right. Plus, they were super vague about financing, making us wait forever. My first car-buying experience was a total letdown, especially after seeing all those rave reviews. Disappointment doesn't even begin to cover it. More
