Seat sensor for passenger air bag needs to arm at weights over 80 lbs. My wife is 102 lbs and the air bag will not arm, even without the added seat cushion. She gets in, I start the vehicle and reach over and push down on her legs and the added force arms the air bag. The present 100 lb weight sensor is unsatisfactory and should be a safety factor to be considered by GM for replacement with another more sensitive one. Probably 40% of adult females are in the 100-120 weight range and it is unsafe to ride around with the air bag unarmed. More

We went in to replace a left door handle that had broken loose in its mount. It was replaced under warranty and then the 2007 Buick received the regular conventional summer service.
