I first chatted with Devlynn and due to uncertainty, on my part, and other events beyond my control, I had to put off my car purchase. Things were cleared up and I reached out again to Royal. I spoke with Taylor (via email) and explained my situation. She was awesome. So I decided to take that leap and went into the Dealership. When I got there, with my 16 yer old daughter, nerves got the best of me. My original point of contact was supposed to be Tom but he was unavailable. I'm sure Tom is awesome, as has everyone been so far, but Juan Vazquez was now my person. I couldn't have asked for a better fit. He was funny, charming, A-MAZ-ING, and just all around a great fit. I was able to joke with him, let him know that I was a first time buyer, was very specific about my needs and wants in terms of cars and what I could afford. He listened to me and we found the best car to fit my needs. He stayed with me far past closing time, about 2 hours, and never made me feel that I was wasting his time. Juan will forever be the person I look for to buy a car from. Juan Vazquez, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you. You made me feel like I wasn't being taken advantage of, you were very funny, and you made me and my daughter feel welcome. I will recommend you to everyone! More

She was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, thorough and attentive. Many sales folk are overbearing which is a turn off but I ended feeling like I had a new friend... I give her an A+ I had phone conversations with other employees about getting my title and plates and they too were pleasant and easy to work with. On the day I went back to pick up my second key, a gal, Simone was also a huge help! I’d definitely send my friends to y’all for their next vehicle! More

One of the worst car sales experiences I’ve had. Posting this review a second time as the first one mysteriously was removed. August 21, 2018 Shopping for a car for my daughter we met salesperson Melissa Shelly. Things started off well with test drives and car selection, but it was the sale process where things quickly unraveled. Melissa and her sales manager did a great job of standing firm on the sale price and were so “gracious” in taking $100 off the sticker price. They then lowballed our trade in and once again patted themselves on the back for adding $300 to the lowball price. The 2017 Toyota Camary had no floormats and I asked if they we’re gonna supply them, Melissa said “no”. (apparently this 2017 Camary is being sold without them?). I later had to make them include the mats and did get them from a Manager who I had to call and get them ordered. Royal KIA must abide by the slow grind sales philosophy as this whole experience took over six hours, and would have taken much longer had I not intervened. Every minute was a struggle as Melissa has a sales process & shtick that keeps the customer in the dark regarding payment and price until the end. She withholds this information until after the video presentation where she then tries sells the warranty, gap insurance, dent, theft insurance and tire/wheel insurance. After I repeatedly explained (and was ignored), that my daughter was at her maximum budget and wouldn’t be buying any extras. (I was co-signing for my daughters loan). Melissa who was then interrupted from her lengthy structured sales presentation -came completely unglued and revealed her true rude demeanor. She slammed down her presentation books shut the computer off and stormed to the finance desk to get the paperwork. We should have walked out, and I would have if it was my car and my payment, However my daughter who is sweet, naive and new to a car sale -wanted to continue. Thankfully I was there to protect her from Melissa’s sales tactics. This experience has left me bitter for the last few days, I highly recommended anyone looking to buy a car stay clear of Royal KIA and Melissa Shelley. Today I learned that after the sale -Melissa coerced my daughter into writing a positive review on this page which you can view dated 08/21/18, Melissa explained “she needs positive reviews for her livelihood” and told my daughter to write the review which infuriated me and forced me to write this accurate account of what our experience truly was. If Melissa wants positive reviews on this website, she must EARN them...... Reviews on this site should be written by the buyers own valition and not pushed by the sales person. More

Fantastic experience thanks to Charles Owens at Royal Kia Our Subaru was totaled recently and we really thought we would replace it with another Subaru. We really liked it and after some research comparing the Sportage to the Forester we went to Royal Kia in Tucson to explore a bit more. We had a fantastic experience. Charles Owens helped us that first day. He was a delight to work with.as he was upfront and straight-talking, helpful, funny and really listened to our needs and concerns. Charles was able to answer all of our questions and even worked out what our monthly payments would look like according to a variety of possible down payments....very helpful! To top it off, Charles went the extra mile by getting up at 4am driving to Phoenix to pick up our new Sportage (in the color we wanted) and drove it back to Tucson in order for us to have it by our anniversary! Truly above and beyond what our experience with any sales person has been to date! We have handed out Charles' cards to friends and family we know are about to go car shopping...We recommend Charles with no reservations! Thanks Charles and all the kind folks at Royal Kia! More
