Promised a red Niro coming on truck in 2 weeks put my money down. Called two weeks later and they had no record of my reserve. Carson was helping me at first then when I returned they had me go to anothe money down. Called two weeks later and they had no record of my reserve. Carson was helping me at first then when I returned they had me go to another worker who wanted to go home it was Saturday night. The manager came and said they had a red Niro on truck I could put 1,000 down to hold it. Also said he would check with nearby dealers to do a swap and get red one for green. After two weeks no communication I called Carson and he tried to find this car promised to me….long story short the truck had no red Niro hybrid. As I was on phone with him a red Niro across town had just gone to contract. IF they had checked prior week as they said they would I could have had the red car. I came in to see green again and since I already sold my other car for travel needed one by two weeks. Only green available anywhere nearby. I decided to go with it anyways. I then explained I wanted a good interest rate I have great credit. Even told them to try vantage west current lien holder for other car. They come back with a rate of 8.54……nope. I asked who they had contacted. Several this is best offer. Got on my phone called vantage west and they said 7.25. They went back to financing and r the vantage west for 7.25. That’s horrible that your finance dept doesn’t put more effort into getting people the BEST rate not most convenient for you. I live Carson he is a great guy. New to your company hopefully won’t get ruined by it. Steve was nice but when I told him that the finance of 8.54 wouldn’t work he seemed a little put out. The two who interacted with me on Saturday originally were horrible. How do you run a dealership where you make promises that don’t exist, take peoples down payments with no record for what? Then when they still do business with you don’t put any effort into getting the BEST interest rate? I love my car but would not suggest others to go to Royal. I felt trade in offers were also not given much effort. Offered 4500 for my van and sold it at 8999 asking price in one hour on Marketplace. Had two others that wanted it too. Would have made more selling my car but logistics of financing more till sold wasn’t worth hassle. I’m only hoping that the service side has it together more. Again Carson was great give the guy a bonus!!!’ More
