First off, no complaints regarding the sales rep, she was nice and not pushy, which is refreshing for car sales person. Anyway, my issue is with their so called $5,000 “aftermarket fees.” When asked what it nice and not pushy, which is refreshing for car sales person. Anyway, my issue is with their so called $5,000 “aftermarket fees.” When asked what it was, it was explained that it was a sanitation fee that was required for all vehicles so the $5,000 fee was tacked on top of the car price. Due to the chip shortage, I had been working with a couple dealerships to see which lot had the vehicle I wanted either in stock or available to put a deposit on. NO other Toyota dealership mentioned this “sanitation fee”. After learning this, I promptly left and went to Toyota of Wilsonville and got the exact vehicle I wanted with no ridiculous fee. Royal Moore Toyota of Hillsboro, Oregon is taking advantage of the Covid pandemic by charging this ridiculous fee. Save yourself $5K and go to other dealership. More
