I came in for a simple oil change at Royal Moore Toyota expecting the usual: bad coffee, long wait, and maybe a nap in the lobby next to someone snoring. What I didn’t expect was to meet Emily — the Beyonc expecting the usual: bad coffee, long wait, and maybe a nap in the lobby next to someone snoring. What I didn’t expect was to meet Emily — the Beyoncé of service advisors, the Da Vinci of dealership hospitality, the Tom Brady of keeping you informed without making you feel dumb about car stuff. From the moment I pulled in, Emily was on it. I barely had time to scroll Instagram before she had me checked in and smiling. She explained everything with the confidence of someone who could probably perform an oil change blindfolded with one hand — while defusing a bomb. She didn’t just “walk me through it” — she gave me a TED Talk on why synthetic oil is superior, and I was HERE for it. I came out of that service bay a better man. Wiser. Lubricated… I mean, my car was. And the cherry on top? She didn’t try to upsell me on a flux capacitor or convince me my air filter was 93% dead. She was honest, helpful, and funny — like a mechanic and therapist in one. Emily, if you’re reading this: you made my Tuesday feel like a Friday. Royal Moore, give this woman a raise, a medal, and maybe her own reality show called “Torque Talk with Emily.” Highly recommend. 11/10. Would let Emily oil my car’s soul again. More
