Kudos to Rudy Luther for implementing some noticeably good improvements in customer services. In the past, the service reps would come over, tell us the service was completed and send us to the cashier to sign the paperwork. Of course, the cashier cannot answer our questions relative to the work just completed. She/he would call the service rep to come explain. We could see/feel the rep's displeasure in having to do that. On more than one occasion the conversation between us was unpleasant because they had to respond to questions they themselves could not answer. On this last 10k service, Eric, our service rep was so friendly and pleasant throughout the entire process. After servicing was completed, he sat with us, explained the service, and answered all our follow-up questions before ushering us to the cashier. Eric, you are restoring our faith in Rudy Luther. Then I got a window of time 1hr earlier than my appointment, so I thought welp, at least there’s cookies & coffee. Ryan was my service agent, and he’s like no problem and I think I can get you in and out within an hour, but I don’t want to over-promise. I remembered his name cuz he was way first-class! He and the team totally did it! Couple things, can you have some books people can take with them? And to save paper can we hv the option of NOT getting a copy of our service printed? Thanks! More

We've traded in, not traded in, leased once, and put varying amounts down. Each experience has been solid from start to signing, and into the service of the vehicles. Ron has, once again, been awesome with this recent purchase, and Katie kept us fed when we were feeling hungry during signing, and answered all of our questions clearly and with options. We've loved our Toyota's and cannot imagine going elsewhere to purchase them. Thanks, Jordan, for the initial online follow-up, Amanda with the help with the seat options, Katie for the earlier mentioned, and especially Ron for always making sure we get the right vehicle. More

Great Service at Rudy Luther I bought my 2015 Tacoma at Rudy Luther in the Fall or 2014 and have had it regularly serviced there ever since. I have nothing but good things to say I bought my 2015 Tacoma at Rudy Luther in the Fall or 2014 and have had it regularly serviced there ever since. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences with the vehicle and with the service team at Rudy Luther. Scheduling service is simple, I get in when I'm scheduled, my Service Adviser (usually Mia) lets me know what needs to be done and how long it will take, and the work gets done on time. Meanwhile, I have coffee and work from my laptop in the comfortable lounge. It couldn't be easier. More
Painless and even enjoyable! I am one of those people who buy a certified used car once every 7-10 years. Part of the reason for this is because I've always bought Toyotas and hav I am one of those people who buy a certified used car once every 7-10 years. Part of the reason for this is because I've always bought Toyotas and have not needed to replace them often (yay!), but the other part of that reason is because I really dislike car shopping (ugh). I am not a Car Person, and my basic needs are 1) does it run?, 2) does it run reliably?, and 3) is it safe, affordable, and something I can see myself in for the next foreseeable decade? So I don't really come to the car shopping process armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of cars, which is fine. Everyone has their interests! But it does make me feel nervous. There are also all those stories about (and a general ethos surrounding) how miserable it is to shop for cars as a woman. The stereotype, of course, is that women could not possibly know what they want or need, and lack the ability to understand "car talk," so they are more likely to get swindled by the evil car salesperson. Right? We all know that women are perfectly capable of shopping for cars, but certainly over the years there have been more than a handful of moments when women were treated like children at the dealership. So anyway, I hate car shopping. Or I should say that I hated it, until I worked with the folks at Luther Toyota in GV, namely Tony Zemke and Paul Kunz. I knew what I wanted going in, and I was open to other models/styles, but I had shopped around online prior to my appointment. I had done my research because I anticipated a painful car shopping experience, and I wanted to at least lock down my price range and one or two options. Tony is a really personable guy, and despite my misgivings about the whole process, I instantly warmed up to the conversation because he treated me like, you know, an actual adult! Weird, right? And he was very friendly, engaging, open to all questions and concerns, and honest. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, he listened to the features I wanted to include (without trying to corral me into buying the higher-priced options), and let me feel like I had some control of the sale, like I wasn't being manipulated, and like I truly could leave at any point if I didn't feel I was getting the deal I came for. In other words, Tony provided two elements critical for me to feel good about the whole thing: respect for the consumer and no pressure or any of those nightmare sales techniques you real about literally everywhere. Even though I came with my own financing worked out, I also really dreaded the finance part of this discussion. Luckily, Paul made this part fast and painless, for which I feel like I owe him a life debt. I've spent HOURS with the finance guys before, sweating it out on the other side of the desk, feeling like I was being cajoled into services I didn't need -- and this was at a time BEFORE Smartphones, so I couldn't do any on-the-fly research or pass the downtime on Facebook. The horror! But Paul was awesome. He was fast, thorough, and he addressed my concerns and questions respectfully. They found me financing that rivaled the financing I came in with, even with the financing charge, and I ended up going with that. In short, it lasted about 15 minutes, and it was as painless as spending a bunch of money can be. Elisa was also great. She answered my emails/questions promptly from the beginning and set up the appointment right away. This is long, but I thought it was important to underscore how painless and smooth the whole transaction was, and how satisfied I am with my vehicle. I would point anyone looking for a Toyota without the run-around in Tony and Paul's direction. Thanks, everyone! More
