This has to been the worst car shopping experience that I've ever had. The saleman tried to slam me with an add-on of more than $25K, lying about it being an automatic charge. They ran my credit through their own financing company (got the alert while in their office), after I told them that I was pre-qualified with Capital One- who was supposed to have a partnership with them. The salemen kept asking if they could try other lenders saying that Capital One came back that I needed a down payment of $10K-- a flat out LIE! Mind you, I was pre-qualified for $60K with a down payment of $4K. I have multiple credit cards with Capital One so I trusted that the details that they provided me was correct. After ultimately leaving, I get an alert from Transunion that they had finally pulled a credit report. Followed by calls, texts, and an email from them stating, "Good news, we got Capital One to agree with what you said". Their predatory practices are HORRIBLE, and there's no wonder that no one was in there. Other dealerships on Golf Rd. were PACKED!!! (I'll be going back to one of them even though this dealership has the car that I want.) Then when I spoke with the general manager he tried to justify the add-on slamming, his saleman and his deceptive practices, and basically told me that TransUnion's explanation of the two hard inquires was incorrect. DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I'll be contacting the Capital One, the FTC, the BBB, and the State of IL to share my experience. More

I made an appointment for an oil change and there were a few recalls on my car. I was told since there were recalls, I would be provided a loaner. The oil change was pretty quick, but then I realized why, they never put air in the tires or filled the windshield wiper fluid (noted on receipt they did this) Those are the only things I caught because I have sensors on my car that tell me but now I’m worried what else the my said the did but really didn’t. I bought a car online. We agreed on a $75K price. I got the contract and they added $500 Lojack and $2000 Xzilon. I said I did not want these. They said they are required. I looked up Xzilon and it said the contract and they added $500 Lojack and $2000 Xzilon. I said I did not want these. They said they are required. I looked up Xzilon and it said it should never go over $700 and is a complete waste. I decided I wanted the car anyway. Sent over contract via email. I never got it so I said sent it to my personal email. They said they could not change an email address. Really? They checked and found that they put my email address in wrong so they changed it. But I thought you said … oh never mind. Tons and tons of fees. But I am paying cash, do I need to pay all these fees. Yes, I was told, they are required. I paid it. They sold me a 30 day tag and said will mail all the stuff into my state. Two weeks later I checked in and they said all is being processed. I called and emailed a few days before the tag was to expire. No phone call or email back. Called the GM. 6 weeks after buying the car, the title and all paperwork was never mailed in! It remained in their office. So I now have a $80K car that I cannot use because they have to mail me back the documents (something they said I could not do 6 weeks ago). Please read my other reviews. 90% are 5 star. I buy a lot of cars this way and have had excellent experiences with all dealers – except this one. Do yourself a favor and run away from the dealership. You will be happy in the long run. More
I took my F-150 in for service at Rohrman Ford. I’m usually a do it yourselfer, but did not have the time to service my own vehicle. Dana was a fantastic service advisor, on the ball and kept me in the usually a do it yourselfer, but did not have the time to service my own vehicle. Not a good visit. I dropped my truck off at 755 AM for a recall check up and an oil change with tire rotation. I received a call at 1015 telling me a list of things that needed to be done. Alignment, tune up, brake service, trans oil change, and cabin filter replacement. I told them not to do the work and I would like to pick up my truck asap. I left a message in the voice mail of the dealer at 345 asking for an update. I did not get a call back until 545 letting me know my truck was ready. When I picked up my truck I noticed the paperwork said the work was completed and the truck was ready at 1149AM. Not sure what happened but I never have good service at this dealer. On a past visit I was told my tires were worn and needed to be replaced. They were 2 months old and had 3000 miles on them, it made no sense. More
